Front of house

Andy Harris

Manager

Andy has come across from the Physician in Edgbaston to take the helm at the Crabmill. He is a Black Country lad who has over 10 years' experience in hospitality. He is a massive West Brom fan and he likes to spend his spare time with his girlfriend Lauren and family. He loves his beer and this will show in his passion for managing the cellar and looking for exciting local beers to sample and offer to our customers.

Duncan Dickson

Deputy Manager

Born and raised in South Africa, Duncan relocated to the UK in 2010 with his wife to follow his passion of working in the hospitality trade. When not working, he loves fishing and is an avid rugby fan. Joining the B&P team in October he could not be happier and looks forward to learning and growing within the company.

Heather Pegg

Bar/Waiting Staff

Heather is our little pocket rocket supervisor who joined the front of house team at the Crabmill in November 2018, bringing with her over 25 years’ pub and retail experience. In her spare time, Heather enjoys looking after rescue animals; which have included Ponies, Horses, Cats, Dogs and a Rabbit. She also enjoys riding and teaching children horse management and how to stay safe around horses. Oh and drinking the odd pint of cider.....

Aimee Fullerton

Bar/Waiting Staff

Aimee was born to work in hospitality. She has a bubbly personality, is always smiling and loves getting to know all of our customers. A well-travelled GIN-dependent woman with friends throughout Australia and South Africa.

Kitchen

Gareth Evans

Head Chef

Our Head Chef Gareth hails from South Africa, but luckily for us he has now settled at the Crabmill. He's a man of few words who lets his cooking do the talking. He comes from a Michelin starred restaurant background, so he knows his beans. Gareth is kept busy when he is not working by his two children and is married to Charlotte.

Benjamin Hensher

Chef de Partie

Ben has grown up in the Midlands and worked predominantly in fine dining hotel restaurants in the Cotswold’s. Although his original expertise was in pastry, he crossed over to the savoury side of cooking some years ago as he felt that would make him a more ‘complete’ chef. In his spare time, he has a passion for nature and wild places, travel and photography.
