Our garden will be open from April 12th – Hooray!
We can open up our garden for bookings from 2 households or groups of up to 6 people from mixed households (including children), to enjoy some alfresco eating and drinking from April 12th. We do have outside areas that can be booked online between April 12th and May 17th or alternatively, we are keeping some tables aside should you just want to pop down and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat without a booking. (Please note, from May 17th when we’re able to open inside the pub, you won’t be able to book outside tables online. Any bookings made from May 17th will be for inside the pub.).
Whilst we are obviously all keeping everything crossed for good weather, it’s best to come prepared for every eventuality, so wrap up warm, bring a blanket and perhaps even an umbrella, just in case. If the heavens do open, we’re really sorry but we won’t be able to allow you to shelter inside the pub.
Click and Collect and Mother's Day Afternoon Tea
We are pleased to say our Click & Collect menu is continuing! That way you won't miss us too much (and vice vera!). Simply follow the link below for all the info and to place an order:
Mother's Day Weekend Afternoon Tea
We couldn’t let another Mother’s Day pass us by without celebrating, so we will be open as usual for Click & Collect that weekend from Friday 12th March until Mothering Sunday 14th March and we thought we might add something a little special for the occasion too. We will be running a ‘Click and Collect Afternoon Tea Menu’ for Mother's Day weekend as it makes the perfect gift and feels like a real treat. Click below to reserve yours:

We look forward to welcoming you all again soon.
Welcome
This handsome village pub looks much the same as it would have when it was built from mellow Cotswold stone some 400 years ago.
We like to think that the Greyhound has character and atmosphere in spades, and feels just as a traditional country pub should feel. We are very proud of our garden and hope it delights through all seasons.
Menus
Our passion lies in finding quality fresh ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. Our menus have a spine of classic British dishes complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world. We upload them to our web site each day before 12 noon so that you may peruse them at your leisure.
