Senior Sous Chef

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our lovely pub restaurant The Greyhound in Abingdon.

As Sous Chef you'll be hands on to ensure the smooth running of our busy kitchen. We're part of Brunning & Price, which means we have all the independence to run our pub and kitchen how we want, but with the support and stability of a rapidly growing big group backing us up whenever we need it.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef, ideally in a premium pub
  • Great people manager with a focus on training and development
  • High standards of food hygiene and H&S
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and quality ingredients
  • Strong grasp of stock, GP and labour control

Chef de Partie

Salary up to £23,000 per annum plus tips and benefits

Are you an experienced Chef de Partie with a real passion for qualify fresh food?

As a Chef de Partie you'll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will be key in supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef.

Kitchen Porter

Compeitive hourly rate plus tips and benefits 

We are looking for full time and a part time Kitchen Porters to work alongside our team of busy chefs.

We need people who can work flexibly, including weekends and split shifts (during mornings, lunchtimes and evenings).

Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen worksurfaces and floors clean, washing crockery and cutlery and other various cleaning jobs.
