Although the Wharf is a large building, there are innumerable nooks and crannies so you can find cosy, intimate rooms and alcoves, or more buzzy, dynamic areas if you prefer. Downstairs is more pub service in style, we've got nine cask ales, a decent wine list with something for everyone, sixty gins and over a hundred malts.
Upstairs is more restaurant, with full table service. Our nine chefs develop really cracking menus which change frequently to reflect the seasons. We have a large terrace which is a really popular place to eat in Manchester with stunning views out over the canal basin.

Sunset CinemaWe are excited to announce the arrival of a brand new event here at The Wharf...an outdoor cinema, sponsored by our friends at Peroni. The films have been chosen and on Friday 27th September at a 7:00pm start time, we will be showing "Romeo + Juliet" (12A) The follwing evening as the sun starts to set at 7:00pm, we will be enjoying non other than "The Italian Job" (PG). Yes, the original, with Michael Cain This is strictly a ticket only event. There will only be a limited number of tickets are available to purchase through our website below. Tickets are £15 for each showing and include an arrival drink, some popcorn and pick 'n' mix to keep you fixated on the big screen! |
Our passion lies in finding quality fresh ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. Our menus have a spine of classic British dishes complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world. We upload them to our web site each day before 12 noon so that you may peruse them at your leisure.

Use the calendar to book a table. If the time you're after is not available, give us a call and we will try our best to fit you in. We also keep some tables for walk ins.
