Our outside space is now open – Hooray!
We can now welcome those from 2 households or groups of up to 6 people from mixed households (including children), to enjoy some alfresco eating and drinking. We do have outside areas that can be booked online between April 12th and May 17th or alternatively, we are keeping some tables aside should you just want to pop down and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat without a booking. (Please note, from May 17th when we’re able to open inside the pub, you won’t be able to book outside tables online. Any bookings made from May 17th will be for inside the pub.).
Whilst we are obviously all keeping everything crossed for good weather, it’s best to come prepared for every eventuality, so wrap up warm, bring a blanket and perhaps even an umbrella, just in case. If the heavens do open, we’re really sorry but we won’t be able to allow you to shelter inside the pub.
We can't wait to see you all again.

Welcome to the website for the Parrot
The Parrot is located in the beautiful village of Forest Green, set deep in the Surrey Hills. It's easily found once you have joined the Ockley Rd B2127. The pub sits proudly on the Green overlooking the cricket ground, the perfect position to fulfil its natural right as the heart of the local community. Chris and the team are on hand to welcome you to their beautiful pub, where you can enjoy freshly cooked dishes accompanied by a fine array of local ale (or many more other tipple choices!).
Our passion lies in finding quality fresh ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. Our menus have a spine of classic British dishes complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world. We upload them to our web site each day before 12 noon so that you may peruse them at your leisure.
AllTrails have kindly created a circular walk from the pub to help you work up that thirst/appetite. You can view the walk details via any of the routes below. (varying levels of tech savyness required -Ed)
