Beaujolais Nouveau at The Red Fox
Join us at The Red Fox as we raise a glass to the arrival of the 2026 Beaujolais Nouveau.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a young, fresh red wine made from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. Traditionally released on the third Thursday of November, it celebrates the arrival of the year’s first wine – a longstanding French tradition that has become something of an annual occasion for wine lovers around the world.
And this year’s harvest is sounding rather interesting. Following successive heatwaves, the grapes were picked unusually early, in mid-August. The result is expected to be a Beaujolais Nouveau with a little more body than usual, balanced by good acidity and a slightly higher alcohol content.
Join us from 5pm, settle in and enjoy a glass or two. There’s no need to be a wine expert – it’s simply a chance to taste the new vintage and enjoy a little French tradition along the way.
