Pie Week Menu
Friday 16th October - Sunday 25th October
We are happy to provide allergy guidelines to support you in making your own menu choice; however, we cannot recommend or tell you what is suitable for you to eat or drink.
Allergies, Intolerances and Dietary Requirements - We actively manage the main fourteen allergens recognised by the Food Standards Agency (see below) but are unable to give information on allergens outside of this. We will, of course, do what we can to accommodate requests outside these fourteen, but these will be put through to the kitchen as a ‘request’ not an allergy order. Please note our menu descriptions do not include all ingredients or allergens; even if you have chosen the item previously, please make sure always inform your server of your allergy or intolerance as the allergy information may have changed.
Cross Contamination - Our food is prepared in shared preparation and cooking areas. As a result, allergen cross-contamination may occur, and fried items containing different allergens may be cooked in the same oil. While we take care in preparing our dishes and have contamination controls in place, we’re unable to guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens or specific ingredients. We declare allergens if they are intentionally added to a product. Where our suppliers have indicated possible cross contamination risks, we also declare their allergen ‘may contain’ risks. If the food is served in its packaging, we advise you to refer to the manufacturer’s label. If you are concerned about possible allergen cross contamination of the food you wish to consume, please ask us for further information on our cooking methods and policies.

If beers not your thing (we cant be friends, I'm afraid..) we have a few wines we tasted we think go great with the pies. Ask nicely we will do most by the glass.
Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, Les Silex, Domaine Beausejour 2025 ~ The gooseberry-sharp acidity stands up well with smoky fish and its green, grassy edge mirrors the sweet peas £39.95
Macon - Vergisson, Domaine Guerrin & Fils 2024 ~ Another one to go with the Fish pie. Creamy Chardonnay cuts through the rich sauce with a delightful chalky finish £45
Soave Classico, Zeni 2025 ~ The gentle pear and almond notes and slightly bitter finish suit mild, milky cheese and finishes with a nice acidic reset £34.95
Dopff & Irion Pinot Gris, Cuvee rene Dopff, Alsace 2025 ~ This wine was grown to be drunk with a chicken pie, or so we're told. A hint of sweetness flatters the salty ham perfectly £45
Julianas, Michel & Sylvain Tete, Domaine du Clos Du Fief 2024 ~ The light tannin in this well-structured Beaujolais crus won't trample the flavours of celeriac and the acidity keeps the ale in check £60
Eva Pamper Legacy red, Hawke's Bay 2022 Lamb and Bordeaux style wines are like Cannon and Ball. A classic match! The fine tannins grip the fatty lamb and give it a good shake £50
Chateau Montaigullion, Montagne Saint- Emillion 2021 ~ A right bank wine with a cracking right hook. knocking our Game suet into submission with its big plummy fruit and complex structure £55
Castillo Monjardin Garnacha, La Cantera Navarra 2023 ~ This sits well with anything with meat in it. A good all-rounder with sweet berry fruts and a touch of chocolate and spice to slather over your choice of pie £39.95
Ide 'Alcalde' Pinot Noir, Sonoma County 2024 ~ Mushrooms and Pinot Noir is about as reliable a pairing as you'll find. Forest floor notes abound with ripe cherry too £50
(v) - vegetarian, (vg) - vegan, (gf) - gluten free, (gfa) - gluten free adaptable
