Ailsa Bay - 48.9% Sweet smoke and bonfire embers merge with liquorice, tarry rope and a refreshing hint of lemon, then soft notes of pear and oatmeal arrive. £6.00
Auchentoshan Three Wood - 43% Bursts of citrus, the signature nuttiness and green leafiness. Smooth and sweet hints of tangerine and lime accompanied by thick dark treacle, toffee notes and chewy wooded notes. £4.90
Glenkinchie 12 year old - 43% Light, yet fragrant. Notes of fresh cereal and grist, some barley sweetness and a nutiness. Acacia honey creeps in with gentle warmth. The palate is very fruity with notes of Madeira, sweet stewed fruits. £4.30

Aberfeldy 12 year old - 40% Sweet, malt with a gentle peat, nonetheless the mouth feel is very clean. £4.50
Ardmore Traditional Cask - 40% Lots of barley and cereal notes, oodles of rich bourbon, smoke and peat still present. Charming interplay through the caramel sweetness and the vanilla spiced oak. £5.10
Ancnoc 12 year old - 40% Non-sherried Speyside style, showing polished malt and a delicious spiciness throughout a warm, complex palate and lasting finish. £3.80
Blair Athol 12 year old - 43% Good body, malty and sweet. Citrus and the peels thereof. £5.10
Clynelish 14 year old - 46% The palate is multi-layered too, with some slight citrus hints on a honey background with peat and delicious spices before a honey finish with a trace of brine. £5.30
Dalmore 12 year old - 40% Rum butter nose with malt loaf on a light peat heath. £4.70
Edradour 10 year old - 40% Delicious honey notes complimented by an oily mouthfeel and a stylish finish. £4.30
Glendronach 12 year old - 43% Toffee sweetness, apples, a hint of vanilla and a rich dark fruit background. £4.70
Glenmorangie 10 year old - 40% Sandalwood with a whiff of the sea. Spicy, buttery, long and rounded. £3.40
Highland Park 12 year old - 40% Rather full with a pleasant depth. Notes of granary toast and green tea with jasmine with just a touch of sweetness. £3.50
Oban 14 year old - 40% Slightly salty but with a smooth finish and a butter toffee aftertaste. £5.00
Royal Lochnagar 12 year old - 40% Fruity, citrus and a touch of peat. Sweet, peppery and oak-spice. £4.80
Springbank 15 year old - 46% There is a richness to the peat with a dark nuttiness and whirling smoke. Full-bodied with a good helping of cereal sweetness. £5.00
Islay and Island Whisky
Ardbeg 10 year old - 46% Smoke and brine nose. Very soft, mellow entry, then the spices and peat come through in a big way on the palate, with a balancing sweetness. £4.50
Bowmore 12 year old - 40% Pears soaked in honey, smoked over peat with dark chocolate. £3.90
Caol Ila 12 year old - 43% Light and fresh, with toffee, vanilla and pear balanced by smoke and ashy touches. £4.10
Isle of Jura Superstition - 43% A cereal fest on the tongue, with hints of white pepper and black forest honey with hot buttered toast. Light and oily. £3.40
Lagavulin 16 year old - 43% One of the smokiest noses from Islay. Sweet spices, mature sherry and creamy vanilla. £5.90
Laphroaig 10 year old - 40% full-bodied, smoky gem, with a residual sweetness and a hint of salt amid the seaweedy, peaty characters before a long warming finish. A classic dram. £4.40
Talisker 10 year old - 45.8% Full bodied with huge plumes of smoke and volcanic, peppery peat. Intense. £4.10
Speyside
Aberlour 10 year old - 40% Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel. Caramel and honey finish with malt still evident and lingering sweet spice. £3.50
Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year old - 47.3% Balvenie which finished its maturation in casks which had previously held Caribbean rum. Expect vanilla and toffee notes as the rum contributes extra sweetness to the flavours. £5.90
Cragganmore 12 year old - 40% A complex malty aroma backed by restrained herbs and flowers. £3.80
Dalwhinnie 15 year old - 43% Bright and fruity, but also rich, with notes of steamed syrup pudding and sponge cake, with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. £4.10
Glenfarclas 15 year old - 46% Amber with sherry and malt and just a touch of smoke. Long and smooth. £5.90
Glenfiddich 12 year old - 40% Light, floral spices. Very smooth with a sweet, touch of oak and a fruit driven, oily finish. £3.40
Glen Grant 10 year old - 40% Famously, Glen Grant produce 'the lightest spirit in Scotland', and while this is a gentle dram it's got a richness to its mouthfeel that you might not expect. A great warm-weather sipper. £3.00
Glenlivet Founders Reserve - 40% Fruity, then sweet toffee with a touch of anise, then into milk chocolate flakes, banoffee pie and apple turnovers. £3.50
Glenrothes select reserve - 40% Packed to the rafters with honey, caramel, dried fruit and baking spices, this one shows off exactly what we love about the distillery's malts. £5.10
Knockando 12 year old - 43% Honey'd barley and a few fleeting floral flourishes. Bread with butter, sultanas and melon. £3.50
Macallan Gold - 40% Citrus and boiled sweets rule the palate, along with hints of ginger and cinnamon, while soft oak tones reveal toasted apples. £3.90
Singleton Of Dufftown - 40% Sweetness and crunchy nuts impress at first, then there's a smooth, fruity Speyside richness £3.50
Tamdhu 10 year old - 40% Soft red fruit followed by brown sugar and spicy clove. A touch of chocolate-covered Brazil nut. £6.25

Buffalo Trace - 40% This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth. £3.00
Bulliet Bourbon- 45% Russet in colour with a rich, oaky aroma. Dry, clean flavour yet mellow, rich and smooth finish. £3.00

Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon - 50% Peppy and full. Notes of candy floss and nut oil, a touch of spice and dark chocolate, a little spice and charred oak. £3.40
Maker''s Mark - 45% Fruity and rich. There are lovely notes of spiced honey and mixed peels, hazelnut and a touch of cut fruit with toasty oak providing the backbone. £3.00
Willets Pot Still Reserve - 47% This warming little number comes in a pot still shaped bottle. Buttery corn, with a little caramel later on. £7.00
Woodford Reserve - 43.2% Unusual for being triple distilled and having the lowest proof upon entering the barrel. Where it matures for at least six years. £3.60

Johnnie Walker Black Label - 40% A rich and full 12 year old blended whisky with notes of wood smoke and dry spice. £3.20
Johnnie Walker Red Label - 40% Red Label is a compliment of up to 35 whiskies. It is fresh, sweet and fruity flavours combined with a smoky finish £3.10
J&B Rare - 40% Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of berry fruits, hints of cut fruit salad and caramel. The finish is quite short with a touch of oak and spice. £3.00
Monkey Shoulder - 40% Batch 27, smooth and rich, a blend of three Speyside malts. £3.30

Hibiki Japanese Harmony - 43% Oranges and apricots in abundance, a little peppery spice, then the soft, succulent fruit takes hold. Nice balance, and nicely crafted. £5.90
Nikka Whisky From The Barrel - 51.4% Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit. £5.50
Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt - 43% Sherry-soaked plums, raisins and green apple slices. Honey''d cereal, black pepper and a hint of barrel char. £5.90
The Yamazaki Distiller''s Reserve - 43% Classic Yamazaki strawberries and dried fruits with floral notes coming from the Mizunara cask. Fragrant sandalwood and coconut. Certainly a whisky where you could get lost in its nose! £7.50

Bushmills 10 Year Old - 40% Medium body, very fruity, chocolate pudding with a floral and tannic finish. £3.50
Jamesons Irish Whiskey - 40% Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream. £2.90
Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey - 40% The nose is smooth and gentle with nut oils, hazelnut and barley, cereal sweetness and a little peat. The palate is of good body with honeyed sweetness and malt. The finish is short with oaked dryness. £3.00
Penderyn Welsh Whisky - 46% Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, resin, sultanas, toast, over-ripe grape. Thick and sweet spices, biscuit and custard with subtle hints of stem ginger. £3.30
Teeling Irish Whiskey- 50% While being very approachable the influence of the rum cask and higher percentage alcohol creates a unique smooth, sweet, slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue. £5.00
Tullamore Dew Special Reserve 12 year old - 40% Scones with clotted cream and vinous strawberry jam, sultanas, dates and digestive biscuits. Linseed and honey with a medium length finish and a hint of oaky/nutty bittersweetness. £3.00
Tyrconnell Irish Whiskey - 43% Melted butter, honeyed cereal and a touch of orange pith. Rich vanilla and soft fudge, with a touch of granary toast underneath. Lingering nutmeg spiced finish and a touch of drying oak. £3.60

Berneroy VSOP Calvados - 40% Berneroy aged this VSOP in Limousin oak for around 8 years. It has a great flavour and they recommend it with the cheeseboard £3.60
Hennessy XO - 40% Rich, full-bodied with dark dried fruit notes. Dates, plums and sultana. £10.00
Courvoisier VS 40% Fruity, delicate taste and a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers. £3.30
Janneau VSOP - 40% A blend of Armagnacs aged for at least 7 years in Montlezun oak. It has a smooth, aromatic finish. £3.50
Remy Martin VSOP - 40% Berry fruits and sweet cereals. Vanilla, manuka honey and a touch of spice. £4.10
