Our Annual Charity Duck Race Returns!
Our much-loved Duck Race is back on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August, and we'd love you to get involved as we raise money for our chosen charity, St Michael's Hospice.
Taking part couldn't be easier. Simply purchase a duck for £5 online or at the pub and we'll enter it into the race. There's no limit to how many ducks you can buy, so feel free to increase your chances of glory by entering a whole flock!
Once you've bought your duck, you're welcome to collect it and give it a little personality before race day. Add some sparkle, colour and pizazz to help it stand out amongst the crowd, as there will be prizes up for grabs for our Best Dressed Quacker, kindly donated by some of our fantastic suppliers.
The fun doesn't stop at the water's edge. We'll have plenty happening throughout the day, including:
Live music from Giles Stelfox
Garden games
Face painting
Outdoor bar
BBQ
The ducks will take to the water at 4pm, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to cheer yours on and enjoy everything else the day has to offer.
It's always a fantastic afternoon, full of friendly competition and fundraising for a wonderful local cause.
