We have a new addition sitting opposite our pub. And quite a thing it is...
Initially built for the Chester Raft Race this summer, this incredible raft was built on one of our regular’s driveways. The theme was 'Best of British', and there is nothing more British than a Spitfire and it helped to raise plenty on the day.
It was too good to bin, so we found a new home for it across the canal, where it still raises a smile every day. 3000 hand made poppies now adorn the Spitfire and if it brings a smile to your face too, please donate a few quid to Help the Heroes, and help us support those who have served.
