Wine Tasting with Castelnau Wines

Join us on Wednesday 11th November at 7pm as we welcome Fernando from Castelnau Wines to The Hare for an informal evening of wine tasting.

Fernando will be pouring a selection of wines throughout the evening, giving you the chance to try a range of different styles, from sparkling and white wines through to fuller-bodied reds.

As you taste, Fernando will talk you through each wine, explaining where it comes from, the grape varieties used and some of the characteristics to look out for in the glass. He’ll also share a few tips on tasting wine, from recognising different aromas and flavours to understanding why wines from different grapes and regions can taste so different.

There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way, so you certainly don’t need to know your Chablis from your Chianti to come along.
