First Pub Walk of the Year!

Sunday 3rd January

Swapping those Christmas PJs for walking boots? It's time to blow away the cobwebs!

What better way to kick-start the New Year than with some fresh air on our first pub walk of the year.

If you haven't joined us before, here's how it works...

Meet us at the pub from 9.30am on Sunday 3rd January for a warming cuppa and a bacon butty before we head out at around 10am for a five-mile circular walk. Setting off from Glasfryn, the route takes us up into the surrounding hills, through the beautiful Gwysaney Estate and down towards the nearby village of Soughton, before bringing us back to base at around midday.

It's a perfect morning for four-legged friends, although our two-legged friends are every bit as welcome!

Fancy joining us? There's no charge, just give us a nod beforehand so we know how many bacon butties and brews to get ready.

We have a limited number of spaces available for breakfast, and once they're gone, they're gone! But don't worry, you're still very welcome to join us for the walk itself.

If you have a little spare change in your pocket, we'd be grateful if you could pop a donation into our collection tin for our chosen charity, Almost Home Dog Rescue.

Finally, we're busy crossing everything for a lovely dry morning, but a pair of wellies is never a bad idea.

Dust off those boots, grab the lead and come and walk off Christmas with us!

Thinking of staying for lunch afterwards? We'd recommend booking here or giving us a call on 01352 750500. Our dog friendly area can get busy, so please let us know if your dog will be joining you and we'll do our best to find you a dog-friendly table.
