The Bell is at the heart of the village of Alderminster, nestled in rolling Warwickshire landscape, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting, with lots of countryside to explore.

If you fancy a walk around the village, we have a circular walk of around 3.5 miles which will take you around 1.5 hours – the perfect way to work up an appetite!


Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Visit Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the beautiful 500 year old cottage where Shakespeare courted his bride-to-be and uncover five centuries of stories. It makes the perfect stop off on a countryside walk.


Boating on the River Avon

Boating provides a great opportunity to explore the River Avon in the open air. Depending on energy levels there are various boats to hire from punts and canoes to electric launchers and motor boats. Guided river cruises are also available. Pick up is from the Swan’s Nest Boathouse in Stratford Upon Avon, a 10 mile drive from the Globe pub.


Broadway Tower

Broadway Tower is a folly on Broadway Hill, near the large village of Broadway, in the English county of Worcestershire, at the second-highest point of the Cotswolds. Broadway Tower's base is 1,024 feet above sea level with views for miles around.


Warwick Racecourse

Racing has been part of Warwick life since 1707 and the course still hosts a full programme of jump racing throughout the year. A 10 minute walk from the Globe pub.
