Meet the Brewer – Woodforde’s Brewery

Named in honour of Parson James Woodforde, the 18th-century clergyman who famously documented his love of good food and great beer, Woodforde’s story began in the 1960s during the home-brewing revival — a time when authentic flavours and traditional brewing methods were firmly back in fashion.

On Thursday 16th April from 5pm, we’re delighted to welcome James Hancock from Woodforde’s Brewery to The Two Brewers.

James will be taking over the taps for the evening, hosting an informal tasting session and pouring some newly brewed samples — a great opportunity to discover a new favourite, learn a little more about the brewery, and chat all things beer with the man behind it.

Tickets are free, but we do ask that you reserve your space below so we know how many to expect.
