Here is just a little info to let you get to know us better...
Here is little potted history of our pub and the local area... if you have a spare minute or two and maybe a cup of tea (or is that a G&T), we think it's well worth read.
If you'd like to put a name to a face, allow us to introduce you to the crew...
Manager
Meet Russell, our Landlord. Starting his Brunning and Price journey at our sister pub the Queens Arms in Pimlico, Russ has been in the company since 2023. With a career in hospitality spanning over 20 years, it's safe to say he knows a couple things about running a pub. In his spare time you will find Russ probably at work (as he is a workaholic!) or spending time with his children, his girlfriend Jill and their fluffy (and slightly crazy) dog Codi.
Deputy Manager
Minni has been working within Brunning and Price since 2020, starting at our sister pub the Roebuck as a trusty waitress. Moving to the Steam Packet at the end of 2022, she has worked her way up into management. In her spare time you will find Minni walking her english bulldog (her best friend), spending time with her boyfriend (her other best friend) or relaxing at home.
Assistant Manager
Chantal joined Team Steam at the start of 2025. Chantal previously worked in theatre bars, nightclubs and pubs but decided on starting her B&P journey with us. Chantal enjoys a cheeky glass of Pinot G and Fish and Chips. Fun fact about Chantal, she was once a contemporary dancer!
Supervisor
Mia’s been with us for a year and a half now, and we honestly couldn’t imagine the place without them! They’ve been a big part of making our pub what it is today. Before joining us, Mia studied Film Production at university and dreams of becoming a sound engineer one day. When they’re not here, Mia loves gaming and hanging out with their fiancé.
Bar/Waiting
Emily is our performing arts graduate (if you couldn't tell by the headshot...). You will find Emily serving tables with a big smile on their face. Emily loves dogs and coffee. You will find Emily playing dungeons and dragons in their spare time as well as grabbing a beer with their mates.
Head Chef
Head Chef Guy has been working with us since September 2023. Previously working as a sous chef in various other pub companies, he decided to take the step up to head chef and we're glad he did! Guys banter and quick comebacks are always making everyone crack up, he knows how to make anyone laugh. His can-do attitude is always appreciated and we love him for it. Guy enjoys spending time with his friends and family and loves a lime bike to work!
Sous Chef
Derico knows his way around a kitchen. We think he has great taste generally although his choice of football team has our current Head Chef bewildered. Honestly, you couldn't find a better atmosphere in any kitchen on a Man City Vs. Man Utd day if they are both working together. D hails from Goa and has come up with a few dishes that we sneak in occasionally on the light bites that showcase that. Now we just need to convert him into a Bee's fan!
Junior Sous Chef
Everyone loves Money right? We certainly do... He loves working here at the Steam Packet, and is happiest when creating new dishes for your delight. Manvir is entering his third year with us and we can honestly say he brings that little bit of sunshine and joy to work that makes the day seem, well, more than just work. He doesn't follow football but will happily tell the other chefs that they should support the team from the area they are from. We couldn't agree more...
