Live Music featuring Country Folk Acoustic Duo ~ Friday 25th July

Friday 25th July from 8pm to 11pm
We do like to mix things up a bit, so that said, this July we welcome Country Folk to the Physician. The duo comprises of Lizi Platts on vocals and Roger Wall on acoustic guitar. They play a mix of classic and contemporary songs ranging from Alison Krauss and Bonnie Raitt to vance Joy and Prince. Lizi has always been a big fan of country music, whilst Roger is a lover of almost all things guitar. Together, they combine to make a mellow but powerful acoustic sound infused with emotional content. The vibe is definitely country folk, but with a whole heap of pop and soul thrown in for good measure. The duo have just finished recording an EP and are hoping to play local gigs and festivals over the next few months.
We are hoping that the weather will be nice enough for them to play under our stretch tent that evening, but as ever, we may need to relocate them to our main bar area if it isn't nice enough outside.
All of our live music is free to attend. Tickets are not needed. Everyone is welcome. We hope you are free to come along and join in the fun!
