Private Hire

We have various private hire options available here at the Physician, depending on the number of guests you are looking to accommodate. The Snug (10-12 people)

This cute little room is exactly as it suggests! It is just perfect for smaller, intimate, dining bookings. So if you still like to be part of the pub atmosphere, and you don't have enough guests for one of our private dining rooms, then this cosy room could be the perfect solution.

Private dining rooms (12-18 people)

We have 2 beautiful private dining rooms available for mid sized groups. There is one on the ground floor and a second one on the first floor. We don't have a lift at the pub and there are a couple of flights of stairs to climb which we know will not suit everyone, so please do let us know if this poses a challenge to your party and we can make sure that we allocate your booking to an area that suits. We do require a minimum of 12 guests for both rooms. The maximum is 18 people.

Garden Room (18-30 people)

This area is perfect for larger tables and available to be booked for parties over 18 people outside of peak times who still want to have a sit down meal. The area would be set up as 2 long tables and it is just off to the side of the bar for those wanting to soak up some of the atmosphere. We would request pre-orders for food for all bookings in this room.
