Bridge Closure Info....

The Aldford bridge will be closed on Monday 3rd August until Thursday 20th August.

There will be full pedestrian access on the bridge while work is being carried out.

There is a car park available on Chapel Lane in Brickyard Farm, which is just on the right as you travel up the hill. It will still be possible to access the pub by car from Chester by diverting south on the A41, travelling through Milton Green, turning into Handley, taking the turn onto Aldersey Lane, then following that road to the T-Junction and turning right, which will bring you out in Churton, where you'll turn right for the Grosvenor.

Throughout these works the Grosvenor will remain open as usual, and can be easily accessed by following the signed diversion, you may just need to allow a little extra time to get to us, we really appreciate you making the effort!

If you’re fond of our classic Sunday roasts, you’ll be pleased to hear they’ll be making a welcome return this Bank Holiday Monday - a fine excuse to gather together, settle in and enjoy a proper meal at a gentler pace.
Expect all the favourites - traditional beef, pork and lamb, our ever-popular mixed roast, and a vegetarian option - each served with crisp roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and plenty of rich, proper gravy.
We’ll be serving our roasts alongside a menu of your usual favourites, so there’s something to suit every appetite. Families are very welcome, with a children’s menu available throughout the day.
