Winter Pub Walks

Winter Pub Walks
Saturday 27th December — 9:30am
Saturday 3rd January — 9:30am

There’s no better way to chase away the post-Christmas blues and festive fuzz than by reconnecting with the great outdoors, so come and join us for a bracing romp across the Shropshire countryside to help blow away the cobwebs. Whether you’re coming with friends and family or just your lovely self, you can be assured of a warm welcome.

We’ll be meeting at The Fox at 9:30am for a cuppa and a bacon butty before heading out on our route at around 10:15am.

The walk is approximately 4 miles across open fields and footpaths. Dogs will need to be kept on leads through neighbouring farmland, although there will be plenty of safe spaces for a good run. Please note that walking boots or wellies are strongly advised, as parts of the route can be exceptionally muddy at this time of year!

We’ll plan to return in time for lunch. If you’d like to stay for a bite to eat — or even just a well-earned pint — please remember to book a table, as indoor dog-friendly spaces are limited.

We will be collecting donations for Cuan Wildlife Rescue, our chosen Shropshire charity, who are dedicated to rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals and birds. Last year we raised over £800, and we’d love to beat that total for 2025!

If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

This is a family-friendly walk, and you don’t need a dog to join in — it’s a great chance to meet new people or simply explore the local area.

To help us estimate numbers, please book a place on our list using the link below.

We look forward to seeing you — and your four-legged friends — there!
