An Evening with Chapel Down Wines

On Friday 26th June at 7pm join us for a special evening celebrating the very best of British summertime with Chapel Down - one of England’s leading sparkling wine producers.
Dan from Chapel Down will guide you through five exceptional English wines and sparkling wines, each paired with a dish from our five-course tasing men, full of seasonal ingredients and classic summer flavours.
Pairings will include
Chapel Down Brut Reserve alongside Comté, prosciutto ham, tomato and pesto
Chapel Down Chardonnay paired with glazed goat’s cheese, heritage tomatoes, basil pesto and fine beans
Chapel Down Bacchus with prawn and rice noodle salad, lime, chilli and ginger dressing
Chapel Down English Rosé matched with smoked salmon fishcake, pickled fennel, asparagus velouté and keta caviar
To finish, a true taste of an English summer - Eton Mess and fresh English strawberries paired with Chapel Down Rosé Reserve
Throughout the evening, Dan will share the story behind Chapel Down and guide us through the world of English sparkling wine - from what makes it unique to how England has become one of the most exciting wine regions in the world.
