Pie lovers, unite!

From Friday 27th February to Saturday 7th March, we’re celebrating British Pie Week in proper style here at the Black Jug. Our chefs will be busy crimping, filling and baking a tempting selection of homemade pies, all served alongside our usual daily menu.

Behind the bar, you’ll find all your familiar favourites, plus a couple of Classic Champion Beers of Britain — perfect partners for a plateful of golden, pastry-filled goodness (or perhaps no pastry at all… does fish pie count? Discuss).

Whether you’re a full-blown pie fanatic or simply partial to a comforting classic, there’ll be plenty to enjoy. And if pie isn’t your thing (I know - we can't think who this might be aimed at either), don’t worry — our Pie Menu will run alongside the Daily Menu, so there’s something for everyone.
