Mother's Day

This year we have decided to do something special for Mother's Day.

We're serving a 2 or 3 course set menu (see below) for £24.95/£29.95. You can book your table online here on our website, or you can call us on 01789333790. Please note that £10/person deposit is payable. 

Starters

Roasted vine tomato and basil soup with pesto

Pressed beetroot terrine with goat's cheese mousse and salt-baked beetroot and fig salad

Pan-fried scallops with arancini and gazpacho dressing (£5 supplement)

Smoked salmon tartare with crab mayonnaise and cucumber jelly

Chicken liver pâté with apricot chutney and granary toast

Slow roasted duck leg with bubble and squeak and orange and cherries

Mains

Rare roasted topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding

Roast chicken with all the trimmings, roast potatoes and gravy

Stilton, red onion and potato pie with red wine gravy (v)

Pumpkin and sage tortellini with butternut puree and a sun blushed tomato dressing (v)

Roast rump of lamb with thyme fondant, white bean puree and lamb jus

Pan-fried sea bass fillets served on spinach velouté, new potatoes, samphire and french beans

Sri Lankan fish curry; salmon, king prawns, red mullet and mussels with jasmine rice, tempura okra

Rhubarb cheesecake with rhubarb ice cream, grenadine poached rhubarb and ginger syrup

Dark chocolate and praline torte with boozy cherries and cherry sorbet

Triple chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

Toasted waffle with caramelised banana and honeycomb ice cream
