Live Music ~ Devil in the Whiskey

We’re delighted to be hosting live music throughout the summer months, and this early Bank Holiday is no exception, with the ever-popular Devil in the Whiskey returning to the Armoury on Friday 1st May.
A Scottish–Irish four-piece, they blend traditional folk with a touch of Americana, creating a warm, acoustic sound full of energy and melody. With bouzouki, guitar, tenor banjo, uilleann pipes, fiddle, whistles and vocals, their performances move between lively jigs and reels and original songs inspired by heritage, migration and the stories of generations past.
Rooted in the Shrewsbury session scene, their strong musicianship have earned them a loyal following at festivals and folk events across the country.
