Charity Bingo Night ~ Sunday 8th February
Sunday 8th February
Please join us on the evening of Sunday 8th February for the Armoury’s Charity Bingo Night, in aid of Lingen Davies. Starting at 8pm, the evening promises plenty of laughter, fun, community spirit and some brilliant prizes.
Our chosen charity for the night is Lingen Davies, which is dedicated to supporting high-quality cancer services for people across Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales. Founded in 1979 by Bernard Lingen, then Mayor of Shrewsbury, and local accountant Frank Davies, the charity’s first appeal raised £1.25 million to provide a radiotherapy department at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Since then, Lingen Davies has continued to support cancer care across the region, including contributing £3.2 million towards the development of the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre at RSH.
Tickets are £10 per person, payable on the night. However, we kindly ask that you sign up for a free ticket in advance so we know how many bingo books to prepare.
With our fabulous host Ernie leading the way, a great selection of drinks available at the bar, and a room full of friendly competition, it’s an evening you and your friends won’t want to miss. Be ready to shout “Bingo!” and enjoy a night in support of a truly wonderful cause.
We look forward to seeing you there.
