Wine Tasting Evening ~ The Loire and it's Many Guises

Join us at 6:30pm on Thursday 9th April for a special evening of wine tasting as we welcome Charlie from one of our favourite suppliers, Liberty Wines. Together we’ll be exploring one of France’s most celebrated wine regions - the beautiful Loire Valley.
The evening will begin with a glass of Château Moncontour Vouvray Brut, before Charlie guides us through a selection of five wines from across the region. These include three whites - ‘Confluentia’ Muscadet, Domaine de Bel Air Pouilly-Fumé, and Goustine ‘Le XX’ Vouvray - alongside two reds - Domaine des Sables Verts Saumur-Champigny and Domaine Sauterau Sancerre Rouge.
Throughout the tasting, Charlie will share a little about the Loire Valley itself, how wines are produced across the region, and what makes each of these bottles unique. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable way to discover some fantastic wines and learn a little more about this much-loved part of France.
