Hannah

Manager

Hannah is originally from Berkshire where she grew up in her parent’s pub so pub life is certainly in her DNA as she learnt to pour a pint at 13! Understandably, she has an absolute wealth of pub management experience and a total passion for all things food, wine, and great service.

Hannah now lives in Chippenham with her beloved cat, Hendricks (named after her favourite gin). If there is no Hendricks behind the bar Hannah would be very happy with a Picpoul de Pinet in the sunshine. If both of these fail, a weekend favourite is a boozy Sunday lunch with a big bottle of Fleurie to wash it down.

Ollie

Deputy Manager

Ollie is an energetic and friendly guy who loves working with people, guests and team alike. When he's not working, he'll likely be on a walk somewhere with his dog Tando. Ollie has a taste for gin, and with over 50 on our back bar, he's got a lot to try and after a brief stint in a Whisky hotel in the highlands, he's got a couple of things to say about the 30+ whiskies too! With plenty of experience in pub management, as well as a healthy interest in cask ales, Ollie has certainly found a good home here at the Architect and we’re lucky to have him on board.

Arek

Deputy Manager

Full of beans and humour, Arek brings positivity to every shift. With years of experience in hospitality and management he brings a relaxing, professional atmosphere to the team. A passion for cooking and a family oriented guy he enjoys spending his free time using them as guinea pigs, to further practise his skills.

Will

Assistant Manager

Will is an affable member of the team, and with years of experience behind the bar his drinks knowledge is second to none. He is always the one to crack jokes on the busy shifts - which keeps us all smiling.

If you ever have any questions about our wide range of Ales, Beer or Spirits, he is your man to go to. If Will is not behind the bar he is often on the other side enjoying a nice cold beer.

Ffi

Assistant Manager

This stunning Welsh lass is full of life, energy and packed full of personality. With years of experience in hospitality, Ffi has a very strong background in bars and is dedicated to all things spirit and beer alike.

Hannah

Events Co-ordinator

Hannah recently stepped into the role of Events Co-ordinator with us and is absolutely loving it. If you want to throw a great wedding, business event or even just a big old party, she’s your gal. Along with her partner Marc, Hannah loves to travel - think of a country and they’ve probably been there.

Marc

Supervisor

With extensive knowledge and ample experience behind the bar, including a stint bartending around the Mediterranean, Marc will be sure to sort you out with a drink to your liking. A passion for keeping fit and healthy, this fanatic is never without his protein shakes and bars. He uses the energy to create relationships with our customers and help to widen their knowledge on all our drink products.

Reinier

Supervisor

Elegant and classy, Rein is never without a stylish outfit. A girl who started out in coffee shops and cafes, decided to move to Bath to enjoy the city life. Rein has been with us from the start, with a fab personality she is a real asset to the team.

Jimmy

Bar/Waiting

Jimmy originally joined B&P at one of our sister pubs, the Hand and Trumpet back home in Cheshire. He came to us a couple years ago when he moved to lovely Bath for uni, and hasn’t looked back since. Having started hospitality life as a kitchen porter before moving to waiting tables, Jimmy has a brilliant understanding of how pubs run, both front and back.

Chloe

Bar/Waiting

Chloe has been with us since we opened, and has proven herself to be a real asset to the team. With this being her first job in pubs, Chloe has taken to it like a duck to water, recently branching out and working behind the bar. When she’s not at work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her cat, Milo, or popping in to try one of our delicious cocktails.

Josh

Bar/Waiting

Our resident funny man, Josh is always quick to make people laugh, both guests and staff. An avid rugby player/spectator, any chance he gets Josh is either playing for his team at uni, or just over the river at The Rec to watch Bath.

Nix

Bar/Waiting

A popular and gregarious member of the team, Nix has been with us for a while now and loves to be around customers. She likes to know customers are happy and strives to ensure their experience with us is a memorable one.

She has a passion for animals and this begins with her two labradors, Oscar & Dexter which she absolutely adores. Being dog friendly here at the Architect she is always bringing them in for a biscuit or two.

Nick

Nick joined us early last year, and with a wealth of experience in hospitality, he’s a master of all trades. Nick enjoys spending his spare time in the gym and playing pool with his friends. Nick’s ability to pour a pint is a thing of beauty, you’ll often find him behind the bar working his magic.

Senior Sous Chef

This chirpy chap is always blessing us with his wonderful taste in music! If you want a sing-song, boogey or a full on rock concert, just a request and Flash is on it.

Piotr

Sous Chef

From the moment Piotr started working with us his smile has never faded. He brings a genuine warmth to the team with his exuberant personality and loves to have a laugh. Exploring new things and walking are his pastimes but nothing beats being back in the pub, relaxing with a nice cool pint.

Matt

Sous Chef

Always full of beans, this lovable chap is always up for a laugh. Matt has been with us for a while now and his conversations are just as brilliant as his food. He loves spending time with his little boy and always makes sure that the rock n’ roll lifestyle is portrayed through the many selfies they take together.

Rob

Chef de Partie

Rob joined us around a year ago, having worked with some of the team previously, he fitted right in! If he’s not in the kitchen, this beer enthusiast can tell you where to find some of Bath’s best pints.

Marcin

Chef de Partie

An absolute powerhouse in the kitchen, Marcin takes great enjoyment from the amazing food he sends out every day. Marcin started his kitchen career as a KP and, after gaining experience in some of Bath’s best establishments, is very proud of the chef he’s become today.
