Senior Sous Chef

Salary package up to £30k with profit share plus company benefits

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our beautiful country gastro pub on the banks of the Kennet river in Woolhampton.

As Senior Sous Chef you'll work very closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of our busy kitchen. That means you'll be cooking and working across all sections, but you'll also have a great amount of input in putting togther the regularly changing, seasonal fresh food menu. We make almost everything from scratch so this is a kitchen for a Senior Sous Chef who really loves fresh ingredients and has a passion for flavours.

We're part of Brunning & Price, which means we have all the independence to run our pub and kitchen how we want, but with the support and stability of a rapidly growing big group backing us up whenever we need it.

As our Senior Sous Chef you will:

  • Train, lead and motivate the brigade of chefs
  • Always push for the best quality and consistency
  • Design and develop fresh food menus and arrange regular tastings
  • Embrace and drive our food culture
  • Prepare fresh food dishes from scratch
  • Be able to manage stock and labour control
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and H&S

Chef de Partie

Salary from £19,000 - £21,000 plus paid overtime, plus tips, plus company benfits

Are you an experienced Chef de Partie with a real passion for qualify fresh food?

As a Chef de Partie you'll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will be key in supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef.

Our Chefs de Partie are involved in a range of duties including:

  • Fresh food preparation
  • Embracing our food culture and designing menus
  • Ordering
  • Stock control
  • Meeting food safety and cleaning standards
