About Us

Here is just a little info to let you get to know us better...

History

Here is little potted history of our pub and the local area... if you have a spare minute or two and maybe a cup of tea (or is that a G&T), we think it's well worth read.

Front of house

Lui

Manager

Lui is our General Manager. He’s happiest outdoors, especially in the Scottish hills, and has a real passion for anything with an engine. When he’s off duty, you’ll usually find him enjoying a crisp, cold pint of Guinness - and he’s also a big fan of cheese.

James

Deputy Manager

James is our resident craft beer connoisseur and techno enthusiast, always on hand with a recommendation for a great pint or a late-night set worth discovering. He also has a softer side, enjoying a good glass of red wine and getting stuck into a good book when he’s off shift. Forever on the search for romance, James brings a mix of charm, curiosity, and easy-going energy to the pub.

Jack

Assistant Manager

Jack is the assistant manager and the pub’s resident tech wizard, always keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When he’s not behind the bar or solving a technical issue, he’s either deep in music or on the hunt for his next great pizza. He’s also never far from his phone, usually showing off photos of his cat to anyone who’ll look. And if the moment’s right, you’ll probably catch him on the dance floor - Jack never needs much convincing to have a boogie.

Riain

Senior supervisor

Riain is an Irish actor with a natural warmth that makes him one of the most welcoming faces in the pub. When he’s not on shift or performing, he’s usually off bouldering, always chasing the next climb. A proper fan of a well-earned pint, his go-to is a classic Harveys Sussex Best, best enjoyed after a long day.

Flora

Supervisor

Flora is always one of the warmest faces in the pub, bringing kindness, a smile, and a naturally welcoming energy to every shift. Brilliant with kids and a true dog lover, she makes everyone feel at ease from the moment they walk in. Originally from Hungary, she’s a big Taylor Swift fan and never turns down a well-earned pint of Hepcat.

Sam

Supervisor

Sam is the mum of the group, always keeping everything organised, spotless, and running smoothly - often tidying up after the rest of us without a second thought. Kind and genuinely sweet, she brings a calm, caring energy to every shift. Originally from Brazil, she’s also a proud mother in real life, which only adds to her natural “look after everyone” vibe. Outside of work, she loves a good shopping spree and enjoys a nice drink in the sun whenever she gets the chance.

Will

Bar/Waiting

Will is an actor with a natural flair for performance, whether he’s on stage, behind the bar, or holding court with a well-timed story. A self-confessed Negroni lover with a taste for the classics, he’s just as likely to be quoting Shakespeare as he is charming the room. Part poet, part showman, Will brings a touch of theatre and a lot of personality to every shift.

Bibi

Bar/Waiting

BiBi is a musician and singer with a voice that somehow follows her onto shift, often turning quiet moments behind the bar into impromptu performances. A seriously talented barista with a great eye for style, she brings both flair and precision to everything she does. Known for her love of cowboy boots and country music, BiBi adds a bit of Nashville energy to the pub, no matter what’s playing.

Vita

Bar/Waiting

Vita is our resident bookworm and Pimlico local, often found with a novel in hand when she’s not behind the bar. A true wine enthusiast, she has a particular love for Picpoul, always happy to recommend the perfect glass. She’s a devoted dog lover, an avid horse rider, and never says no to a good hot chocolate, especially on a cold shift.

Freya

Bar/Waiting

Freya is our resident graphic designer and artist, with a real passion for creativity across everything from visuals to life drawing. Friendly and easy-going, she brings a calm, welcoming energy to the team both on and off shift. When she’s not sketching or designing, she’s usually enjoying hummus and couscous, her go-to favourites.

Kitchen

Aivaras

Head Chef

Aivaras moved to London in 2008 from Lithuania and quickly became part of the Queens Arms family, starting as a Kitchen Porter in 2010. Within just three months he was promoted to Sous Chef, and he is now proudly our Head Chef, leading the kitchen in our beautiful pub.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and is proud to have built his own house. When he gets the chance to relax, he’s never far from a well-earned pint of Guinness.

Joseph

Chef de Partie

Joseph arrived in London in 2016 from Goa, bringing with him a wealth of culinary experience built over 18 years working on cruise ships as a Sous Chef. After years at sea, he chose to settle on land so he could continue sharing his passion and knowledge as a chef. He now brings that global experience and steady hand to the kitchen, adding depth and skill to every service. Outside of work, he enjoys a well-earned Jameson’s and a chance to relax after a life spent cooking around the world.
