About Us

Here is just a little info to let you get to know us better...

Here is little potted history of our pub and the local area... if you have a spare minute or two and maybe a cup of tea (or is that a G&T), we think it's well worth read.

If you'd like to put a name to a face, allow us to introduce you to the crew...

Front of house

Deputy Manager

Alex, as he is known here, is our resident Italian. He has a love of all things food and wine and it shows in how passionate he is about his job. He hails from the Abruzzo region originally, a wild and rugged area of Italy where he worked man and boy in the wonderful world of food and drink. We are pleased he continues what he started there with us. As a career professional, if you were to ask Alex his favourite thing about working here, he would probably say wearing trainers... Honestly, the stairs do take their toll, he was 6ft tall when he started with us.

Assistant Manager

Originally from Yorkshire, Nathen migrated and joined civilisation in the hustle of London in 2018 to study History. He indulges in being so close to significant landmarks of Westminster and hopes to be a tweed wearing professor in the distant future. Nathen takes pride in his hospitality service and will often be found chatting away to our locals. Favourite dish of all time? Fish and chips on every order.

Dancer, photographer and all round creative for the pub, Lauren will be the server bopping out choreography to every song on the playlist. Lauren’s energy levels are higher than most, always making double shifts and late night closes with the team a fun one. Yorkshire girl turned Southerner, experience a shift with her and Nathen together and you’ll never pronounce your T’s in water ever again.
