The Plough and Harrow

Malvern

About Us

Here is just a little info to let you get to know us better...

History

Here is little potted history of our pub and the local area... if you have a spare minute or two and maybe a cup of tea (or is that a G&T), we think it's well worth read.

If you'd like to put a name to a face, allow us to introduce you to the crew...

Front of house

Rachel

Manager

Rachel joined the B&P family in October 2015 after working in Michelin starred restaurants from London to Edinburgh. She has joined us here at the Plough and Harrow after working in our sister pubs, the Arrow Mill, Greyhound and the Old Courthouse. Her passion for everything food related shows, but she also has a keen liking to gin, cheese and coffee. In her spare time she will either be walking her border collie Paige, catching up on her favourite TV shows or exploring the world.

Maisie

Bar/Waiting

Maisie joined the Plough and Harrow team at the end of 2022 and you can always catch her at our monthly dog walk (even though she doesn’t own a dog but wishes she did). She is partial to a Malibu & Coke and also prefers an iced coffee to a hot one.

Maisie is very smiley and always up for a chat with everyone who walks through the door. In her spare time she is a local photographer and loves listening to music from all decades.

Dilys

Bar/Waiting

Dilys started with us in April 2023 and has really found her feet. She is always a pleasure to be around and a hit with the guests. She spends most of her spare time looking after her 17 year old horse Blossom. This busy bee is also finishing off sixth form where she is studying sociology, history and English language, with university on the horizon, she has her ambitions set high. Her favourite dish is our classic deep fried cod in beer batter with chips and mushy peas.

Connie

Bar/Waiting

Connie has been with us since August 2023 and is a hit with the guests. Connie joined us after spending a year travelling around Australia, which she would be more than happy to talk about, especially her favourite place, the Whitsunday Islands. In her spare time you will find her socialising with friends or in the gym. Her favourite drink is a Rhubarb Gin with Tonic and adores our Crispy Beef Salad with sweet chilli sauce and roasted cashew nuts.

Kitchen

Thea

Head Chef

Thea joined the kitchen team in October 2022 and has her feet firmly grounded at the helm of the kitchen. On her days off you will find her walking Spaniel Cooper with a giant cup of coffee, listening to podcasts, her favourite one at the moment is ‘Off The Menu’ (foodie obviously), and catching up on all her favourite TV shows.

Tasha

Commis Chef

Meet Natasha, fondly know as Tasha! Tasha has been with us since we opened in 2019 and has worked her way up through the ranks, starting as a KP she is now a commis chef and has her eyes set higher. Tasha is very crafty, she can be found doing 3D art and colouring. She is an avid reader and her favourite book of all time is The Lovely Bones. Being predominantly in the pudding section, her favourite dish on the menu is our Vegan Panna Cotta, yum!
