One of our lovely team is moving on to greener pastures so we're in need of someone to join our bar team on a full or part time basis. You don’t need to have experience (though it always helps) as we’ll teach you everything you need.

We're part of Brunning & Price, a great group who believe pubs should be beautiful buildings offering a warm welcome, good cask ales, freshly cooked food, great wine and a shelf full of fantastic whiskies and wonderful gins.

Chef de Partie

Salary up to £24k plus paid over-time + tips + company benefits

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our beautiful pub restaurant in Mapledurham on the River Thames!

As Chef de Partie you'll be an essential part of the kitchen team. That means you'll be cooking and working across all sections (with all brand new shiny kit), but you'll also have an opportunity to contribute ideas for the regularly changing, seasonal fresh food menu. We make almost everything from scratch so this is a kitchen for a Chef de Partie who really loves fresh ingredients and has a passion for flavours.

We're part of Brunning & Price, which means we have all the independance to run our pub and kitchen how we want, but with the support and stability of a rapidly growing big group backing us up whevever we need it.

As our Chef de Partie you will:

  • Have solid experience in a fresh food kitchen
  • Be able to handle a section on a busy service
  • Prepare fresh food dishes from scratch across all sections
  • Help to manage stock and ensure minimal wastage
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and H&S

Kitchen Porter

Hourly rate plus tips and benefits

We are looking for a full time Kitchen Porter to work alongside our team of busy chefs, helping to keep the kitchen a clean, safe and tidy workplace

We need people who can be flexible, working shifts that will include weekends and evenings.

Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation.

Previous experience is helpful but we're more interested in someone who is keen and has a genuine interest in working in a kitchen - if you've got both then great! High standards of personal and food hygiene are essential.

Just as a note, please include children in the number of people you are booking for (whether they need high chairs or not). That way we can be certain we have saved a suitable table for you.

If you have a favourite table, please call to make your booking. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee specific tables when booking through our online calendar.

Finally, we don't reserve any of our outside tables so if you enjoy a little alfresco dining these are first come first serve.
