Morris Dancer Movie Nights

Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th September

Come and enjoy an evening under the stars at the Morris Dancer with an outdoor cinema screening of 'The Italian Job' and 'Romeo and Juliet' on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September at 8.30pm with Peroni Nastro Azzuro.

Taking place in the garden of the Morris Dancer, the screenings will start each evening after dusk with deck chairs and beanbags available to use, or you're welcome to bring your own blankets and outdoor chairs. We'll have an outside bar and BBQ available for you to buy drinks and food, as well as popcorn and ice creams to purchase.

Minimum age for movie-goers is 12 years old. Tickets are £10 each and include a pint of Peroni or a medium glass of house wine or soft drink.

'The Italian Job' is a 1969 British comedy caper film, rated as one of the best movies ever made starring Michael Caine. A British crook (Michael Caine) robs gold ingots in Italy by having a computer expert (Benny Hill) cause a traffic jam. A hugely iconic movie!

'Romeo and Juliet' is an American romantic tragedy, directed, co-produced and co-written by Baz Luhrmann. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in the leading roles of Romeo and Juliet, who instantly fall in love when Romeo crashes a party and meets her, despite being members of feuding families.

Book online

Use the calendar to book a table.

All our availability is online so please use this calendar to book. We do keep a handful of bar tables free for 'walk ins', so if you'd prefer to just pop in on the day and potentially don't mind a bit of a wait we’ll usually find a table for you.

We don't reserve any of our outside tables or picnic benches so if you enjoy a little alfresco dining these are first come first serve.

At busier times, we try our best to accommodate everyone, and it may be that your table has an additional booking later in the evening. You certainly won't be rushed, but if you feel like you may need longer than usual, that's no problem at all, please just let us know.

If you have a preference on where you'd like to sit, please use the comments section to specify and while we can't guarantee any requests we will do our best to accommodate you.
