Titanic Tap Takeover
Thursday 24th September
What better way to celebrate Cask Ale Week than with a beer… or six?
Join us on Thursday 24th September at 6.30pm for a Titanic Tap Takeover, with Joseph from – you guessed it – Titanic Brewery.
Joseph will guide us through six Titanic beers, sharing a little about the traditional brewing process and what gives each beer its character. Each beer will be paired with a small plate, and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.
The beers (served as half pints!):
Steerage – Golden, refreshing session pale
Iceberg – Powerful and hoppy, with strong citrus aromas
Wunderlust – German-inspired Kölsch
First Class – Traditional session bitter, rich and golden brown
Classic Mild – Lightly hopped and full of flavour
Plum Porter – Well-rounded with a sweet, fruity aroma – a Hayhurst favourite!
And to eat:
Honey & Mustard Bratwurst
Beef & Ale Pasty
Plum Porter Sponge Cake
If you know your cask from your craft, there’ll be plenty to get stuck into, and if you simply fancy learning a little more about what’s in your glass, Joseph will take you through it all.
Tickets are £37.50 per person and include six half-pints of beer, three small plates and the guided tasting.
Six beers, three plates and plenty of beer knowledge to take home with you – not a bad way to spend a Thursday evening.
