BenRaich 10yr - 40% Silken delivery offers white peach and spicy toffee apple. Floral, honey. £3.70
BenRaich Birnie Moss Intensely Peated - 48% A heavily peated whisky from the BenRiach distillery. This is at higher than average strength and was distilled from peated malt at 35ppm. The result is at once smoky and very fruity. £3.90
Cardhu 12yr - 40% Smooth, rounded, gentle sweetness, soft peat. A little smoke whispers sweet nothings. £3.70
Chivas Regal 12yr - 40% More of those banana chips showing through on the palate, this time there's a creamy hit of barley malt too, pepped up with a little allspice. Notes of ground walnut and caramel. £3.60

Glenrothes Select Reserve - 43% Lots of zesty rich fruit on the nose. Thick Seville marmalade, bubbling on a hot stove with notes of toasted cereals. The palate is silken smooth and utterly supple. Gentle barley whispers sweet nothings to the/its honey. A little vanilla and malt with to £3.70
The Inverarity 12yr - 40% Gentle floral and citrus notes, desiccated coconut and hazelnut. Notes of damp moss. £3.80
Knockando 12yr - 43% Pecans with a dusting of cinnamon and brown sugar. Caramel and wheat crackers. £3.70
Linkwood 12yr, Flora and Fauna - 43% Medium, oily. Honey, pine oil. Malt, almond. £7.00
Longmorn 15yr - 45% The nose is quite feinty with notes of wood and soft calves leather. There are hints of wood shavings and copper with barley sweetness and toasted cereal notes. £6.50
Macallan Gold Double Cask 40% This expression is drawn from a combination of American and Eauropean oak sherry-seasoned casks, making for a wonderful introduction to the Macallan flavour profile. £4.10
Singleton of Dufftown 12yr - 40% Orange zest spiciness perks up a malty core of nuts, oak and toffee, hints of cut grass. £4.40
Strathisla 12yr - 40% Malty core with notes of sultanas and cinnamon pastries. Allspice, cooked apple and mince pies. £3.80
Tamdhu 10yr - 40% A malty aroma greets the nose with notes of leather and vanilla, this is chased by tropical fruits on the palate and amalgamation of spice on the finish. £3.80
Islay
Bowmore 12yr - 40% Lovely and rounded, honeyed even, initially. Vanilla, perfumed smoke and coastal elements develop. Dark Peat. Blossom, oily sweetness. £3.70
Bruichladdich 12yr - 46% Created by Jim McEwan from whisky matured in American oak casks alongside Lochindaal, and chosen to represent the classic, unpeated distillery style. Bruichladdich's new signature bottling is made with 100% Scottish barley. £3.90
Bunnahadhain 12yr - 40% Soft, supple. Sherry, nutty. A little sweetness, malty, juicy sultana. Slightly coastal. £3.80
Caol Ila 12yr - 43% Good body, oily, tar, elegant smoke. Hints of boiled sweets. £3.80
Lagavulin 16yr - 43% Very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and sherry with good fruity sweetness, but also a wonderful sweetness. Big, powerful peat and oak. £5.25
Laphroaig 10yr - 40% Seaweed-led, with a hint of vanilla ice cream and more than a whiff of notes from the First Aid box (TCP, plasters etc). The oak is big, and muscles its way into the fore as you hold this whisky over your tongue. An upsurge of spices develop – cardamom/ £4.35
Laphroaig Quarter Cask This bottling was aged for around five years before being finished in a quarter cask for several months, the size of the cask is quite small, thus does not require such a long maturation. £4.90
Island
Arran 10yr - 46% Sweet. Quite malty, digestive biscuits, followed by green fruits and Cox's apple peel. £3.70
Highland Park 12yr - 40% Rather full with a pleasant depth. Lurking somewhere in the substratum a grilled orange lies. Notes of granary toast and green tea with jasmine. A touch of sweetness. £3.90
Isle of Jura 10yr - 40% Thick and full with more cereal, this time a barley fudge sweetness creeps in with creamy smoothness and a touch of aniseed. £3.80
Ledaig 10yr - 46.3% Medium-bodied and quite rich. There are notes of spice and smoke gathering above the charred oak. The peat is quiet and dry with a touch of black pepper and earth. £5.00
Poit Dhubh 8yr - 43% A subtle but very deep peatiness which runs throughout. Soft honey and caramel notes with some polite spice and fruit. A hint of maritime salinity. £3.80
Scapa Skirin 40% Skiren is a handsomely honey'd single malt Scotch whisky which has been distilled in the Scotch whisky industry's only remaining working Lomond Still! With plenty of vanilla and honey notes to the table. The name comes from the Old Norse word for "glitter £4.80
Talisker 10yr - 45.8% Full bodied with huge plumes of smoke and volcanic, peppery peat. Intense. £4.50
Tobermoray 10yr - 46.3% Quite sweet and light. There are elements of acacia honey and continuing oak from the nose. Smoke and black pepper notes rise gently with a touch of dried fruit and peels. A flash of cinnamon later on. £3.80
Highland/Campbeltown
anCnoc 12yr - 40% Medium, good sweetness. Madeira, winter spices, mocha, Crème de Cacao, herbal hints and toasted granary bread. £4.00
Balblair 1997 - 43% Sweet, a little earthen quality with a fruity robustness. More vanilla, but now creamier, and gently infused with the oak. £4.40
Ben Nevis 10yr - 46% Gentle dryness. Toffee. Looming omnipresent are solid peat notes with a bitter sweetness. £5.20
Clynelish 14yr - 46% Quite light, great clarity. Orange, soft acidity. Dry oak. Mixed fruits, vanilla, leather. £3.80
Dalmore 12yr - 40% Notes of Seville marmalade and triple sec with winter spices and fruitcake. Zesty cocoa and milk chocolate. £4.90
Fettercairn Fior - 42% A handsome, smartly packaged Fettercairn. Fior is Gaelic for "true", and the whisky has an astonishingly rich flavour of cocoa, espresso, spices, fruit and almond. £4.25
Glendronach 12yr - 43% Fruits, peels, buttery. Pain au chocolat, a little marmalade on toast before becoming firmer and nuttier with spiced raisins. £4.30
Glen Garioch 1797 Founder's Reserve - 48% Chocolate lime sweets and brandy butter. With water there's more allspice, dessert wine, barley malt and cured ham. £4.40
Glengoyne 10yr - 40% Barley rich, more bourbon influence. Clean and dry. £3.80
Glengoyne 18yr - 43% Released toward the end of 2012 to replace the superb Glengoyne 17, this 18 year old was aged in refill sherry and first-fill sherry casks and the results are very good indeed. £6.00
Glenmorangie 10yr - 40% Fresh and balanced, vanilla. Boiled sweets, very creamy, tiramisu, toffee. £3.60
Glenmorangie Lasanta 12yr - 46% There is a little sweet beeswax, melted vanilla ice cream as the sherry weaves gently through the palate, a very buttery expression. Much more of that honey in the creamy finish, it has a slight oaky dryness and a dusting of cocoa powder. £4.50
Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or 12yr - 46% Quite full with more dessert wine notes, with cereal notes and barley. A touch of malty spice and berry fruits with good oak-y tannins develops. £7.50
Longrow This is peated whisky from the Springbank distillery, matured in bourbon and sherry casks. £6.90
Royal Lochnagar 12yr - 40% This 12 year old was distillery at the Lochnagar distillery, once visited by Queen Victoria when she was staying at nearby Balmoral. £3.90
Oban 14yr - 43% The palate is thick and full. Notes of citrus with smooth sweetness. The smoke wafts with notes of seaweed. The oak is quite rich with grist and cereal and malt. The finish is of good length with fruit and dry oak. £5.50
Spring Bank A fabulous 10 year old Springbank, matured in bourbon casks as well as sherry casks, adding a wonderful depth of flavour. Slightly peated, it marries a complex mixture of maritime notes as well as a fresh and fruity balance. £4.20
Tomatin 12yr - 43% This core single malt from the ace distillery in the Highlands is finished for six-to-nine months in Oloroso Sherry casks before being bottled. £3.70
Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Cask Finish 43% Spiced palate entry with notes of candied orange and Seville marmalade. A little dried pineapple and white chocolate. £5.80

Auchentoshan Three Wood - 43% Rich. Liqueur cherries in dark chocolate, more sherried fruit, ripe dark forest fruits, like a Black Forest Gateaux. £3.40
Ballantines Finest - 40% Rich and sweet. Barley and caramel, very gentle peat. £3.60
Glenkinchie 12yr - 43% Very fruity with notes of Madeira and sweet stewed fruits. A hint of calvados and tann £3.60
Glenturret 10yr - 40% Fruity and rich with thick sweetness and well-balanced oaked tannins. A touch of cut hay and a little earthen notes. £3.80

Bells - 40% Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice. £2.50
Famous Grouse - 40% Balanced, biscuit-laden palate with a core of thick, creamy malt. Just a hint of spice and the vaguest whisper of smoke really bring a great deal of complexity. £3.50
Haig Dimple 15yr (Old bottling) - 40% An old bottling of Haig Dimple 15 Year Old, presented in a 75cl bottle. Haig has long been a well-known name in blended Scotch whisky, with hundreds of years of whisky history behind the name. Very collectible, this is. £3.80
J&B Rare - 40% There are notes of berry fruits, hints of cut fruit salad and caramel. The finish is quite short with a touch of oak and spice. £3.60
Johnnie Walker red label - 40% Full and rich. There are notes of malted barley and potpourri, a touch of winter spice and fruitcake. The finish is quite long and pungent, there is a good smoke note with a touch of oak. £3.50
Monkey Shoulder - 40% Very malty, creamy delivery with a suggestion of berry fruit. Juicy toasted barley, cloves and butterscotch. Manuka honey, hot-buttered-toast and dried apricot develop. £3.80
The Naked Grouse - 40% Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel. £3.70
Sheep Dip - 40% Rich, warming, malty, young and spirity. £3.70
Teachers Highland Cream - 40% The mouth feel is quite big with a supple maltiness and the vaguest whisper of muted peat. The finish is well fruited with toffee, malt and a faint hint of smoke. £3.60

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel - 45% Full and mouth-filling. There are notes of cereal sweetness, the rye is in evidence with a touch of cigar box and nut oils, a little spice and an aniseed character. £9.50
Jim Beam Black Label 6 Year Old - Triple Aged - 43% Classic Bourbon caramel with some orange zest and vanilla on the nose. The palate is silky smooth with toffee and honey notes which lead into a citrus dominated finish. £3.60
Makers Mark - 45% Rich and full. There are notes of rye and spice, barley malt, a little nut oil with butterscotch and vanilla. £3.60
Wild Turkey 8 Year Old 101 - 50.5% Well aged and packed with brown sugar and vanilla notes with a touch of herbal depth at its core. £3.60
Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon - 43.2% Thick and full. There are notes of espresso beans, winter spice, cereal sweetness, plenty of rye, ground ginger, almond oil, toasty oak and a little rum. The finish is long and mature with notes of cereals and toasty oaken spice. £3.80
Japanese
Nikka Whisky From The Barrel - 51.4% Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit. £6.40
Yamazaki 12yr - 43% Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice. A lovely citrus note develops with more tropical fruit notes and a little rum. £5.00
