Hallowe'en Celebrations ~ Saturday 1st November

Saturday 1st November

Come and join us on Saturday 1st November for a fun-packed afternoon of seasonally spooky activities for all ages!

Starting around 1pm, we’ll have plenty of fun for all the family, with the pub dressed up and ready for entertaining: Pumpkin Painting & Carving, Spooktacular Face Painting (between 2pm and 4pm), and lots of other activities on the agenda!

Being big kids ourselves, it’s hard to resist the lure of all those sweet treats at this time of year, so we’ll also have a scavenger hunt running throughout the afternoon. Kids and grown-up kids alike can head out into the garden to find spooky-themed items to collect in exchange for a treat. Joining the hunt is free, but we’ll be collecting donations for our chosen charity, Cuan Wildlife Rescue.

And if getting out and about is more your thing (perhaps to ease the guilt of all those sugary treats!), our regular monthly pub walk has taken on a spooktacular twist! In a change to our usual format, we’ll be meeting at 3pm before heading out at approximately 3:30pm on a slightly shorter circular stroll than usual, returning with the last light of the day via Lilleshall Drive. Wellies and torches are advised!

Come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win a meal for two in our fancy dress competition. Little ones — and even pups — will also have the chance to win some Halloween-themed goodies.

Reserve your pumpkins using the link below so we have a rough idea of how many we need to pick from the pumpkin patch.

Why not join us for a spot of lunch? You can reserve your table by following the link — just let us know if you need a table in our dog-friendly area.
