The Fox Monthly Pub Walk

Come and join us on the first Saturday of the month for The Fox Monthly Pub Walk, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely ramble through the Shropshire countryside.

We’ll be meeting at The Fox at 9:30am for a cuppa and a bacon butty before heading out on our route around 10:15am.

The walk is approximately four miles across open fields and footpaths. Dogs will be required to be kept on a lead through some of our neighbouring farmers’ land, although there are plenty of fields where they can have a run. Please note that walking boots or wellies are strongly advised, as parts of the walk can be exceptionally muddy and wet at most times of the year.

We’ll make it back in time for lunch if you’d like to stay for a bite to eat or just for a pint (you will need to book a table if you’re planning to eat, as we have limited indoor dog-friendly tables).

We politely ask for a donation on the day for our Shropshire charity, Cuan Wildlife Rescue, who are dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals and birds. Last year we raised over £800, and we’d love to try and beat that total in 2025!

This is a family-friendly walk, and you don’t have to have a dog to join in — it’s a great opportunity to meet new people or simply explore the local area.
