Stuart

Manager

Stuart is a B & P veteran having started out as Deputy Manager at the Pant in 2012. In order to gain more experience he decided to head out onto the roving circuit; 20+ pubs later he took up a permanent role as manager at the Rowbarge, Woolhampton. With a long-term goal of moving back to the North in mind, Stuart took one step closer by taking up the reins of the Falcon in Warmington. This was short lived however, as an opportunity to return to Bunbury, the village Stuart grew up in, to manage the Dysart arose.

We are fortunate here at the Mytton & Mermaid that Stuart loves a good challenge, as when offered the chance to be part of the restoration of our beautiful pub he just couldn't resist. Stuart, his fiancée, Jem, their two young children, Alfie and Poppy and not forgetting dog, Biscuit now reside locally and are very much enjoying exploring the wonderful county of Shropshire. They assure us this is their last move!

Krissy

Deputy Manager

Joining us as Deputy Manager is Krissy. She has worked for B&P since the age of 17. She may be a familiar face if you have been to our sister pub the Fox where she has worked for years. If you don't find her working here, you'll find her walking her dog Storm or in the pub watching her favourite football team Liverpool.

Cecily

Deputy Manager

Cecily jumped straight into hospitality at 16 and joined B&P as a deputy manager at the Armoury 2 years ago. Her passion for the business shines through with her hard work, and the fact her dog is named Guinness! She joins the Mytton & Mermaid for the next challenge in her career.

Elliot

Senior Deputy Manager

Elliot has been part of our B&P family for a number of years, coming most recently from the Woodbridge Inn. Sharp both in dress and mind, Elliot brings with him years of experience working in various restaurants in Staffordshire. When he isn't behind the pumps, he enjoys wining and dining and has been known to jump on his bike to explore the county and maybe sample a local beer ... or two!

Benji

Assistant Manager

Benji hails from Shrewsbury and has worked in hospitality for 16 years. A family man, he has been in pubs and the restaurant trade his whole adult life, working with many of the main brewing companies and restaurant chains in the local area. You're likely to find him with a coffee in his hands! An avid geek at heart he joins B&P on his next adventure.

Emma

Assistant Manager

Emma may be a familiar face at the Mytton & Mermaid, she joins us with a wealth of local knowledge having worked at the pub under its previous owners, as well as more recently working at the Riverside Inn. She found her home behind the bar and has worked up to Assistant Manager. Emma's two children take up most of her time outside of work but she still finds time to relax with her favourite drink, a proper cup of strong tea.

Lucian

Senior Sous Chef

Lucian is joining us at the Mytton & Mermaid from the Woodbridge Inn, where he's spent the last 3 years helping run the kitchen. He has a passion for his job and works extremely hard, having gained experience over the many years from various countries across the globe.

Luke

Head Chef

Luke joined us in January 2017 but is no stranger to the world of B&P. Luke has been with the company since 2011 and through hard work and passion for great food and worked his way up the ranks. For two years previous, Luke has helped train and open all our new pub kitchens, locally The Oakley in Brewood and The Physician in Birmingham and also run the kitchen at the Woodbridge Inn, Coalport. Luke is a rising star in B&P and we are extremely lucky to have his talent here at the Inn. When not behind the pass, he enjoy treating his girlfriend Kat to some nice meals out - letting someone else cook for a change and is an avid Ed Sheeran fan.

Nath

Sous Chef

Nath has been with B&P on and off for 6 years, his most recent role being at the Armoury. He worked at the Mytton & Mermaid under the previous owners and is looking forward to getting stuck back in there. Nath is a proud Dad of two girls - Niamh and Daisy.

Leah

Chef de Partie

Leah joined B&P in September last year, starting her journey at the Armoury. She previously worked at the Mytton & Mermaid under the last owners. Leah likes baking, reading and knitting in her spare time.

Joanne

Senior Chef de Partie

Jo has been a chef since she was 16 years old. She is a mum of two boys, who take a lot of her free time! Jo loves a beer, baking and loves watching boxing, her favourite boxer being Fury!
