    Front of house

    Phoebe

    Manager

    Having told her mum in July 2016 that she didn't fancy a job at her local pub, ten years later she's still with the Brunning & Price family and has never looked back since!

    Whilst she claims to have worked at (or at least visited) all of the pubs in the South and Midlands, she has spent most of her time at The Refectory (the one she didn't want to apply for), The Highdown, Goring-by-Sea, and most recently The Bell, Alderminster. She's even managed to rope her mum into working with her now too!

    Whilst Phoebe has moved around a lot, never ask her directions anywhere or let her be the leader of the pack; she's very navigationally challenged.

    Phoebe loves a pint but does love her little boy, Reggie, the most.

    Mack

    Senior Deputy Manager

    Mack has been part of the Brunning & Price family for six years, working her way up through the business to become Senior Deputy Manager here at The Mallard. With two ducks of her own at home, it seems she was always destined to find her way to The Mallard!

    When she's not at the pub, Mack is a big film lover and is always happy to share a recommendation, whether it's a hidden gem or a new release. She also enjoys wining and dining with her boyfriend and is always keen to try something new, particularly when it involves picking up a new racquet sport.

    Caitlin

    Deputy Manager

    Caitlin started with Brunning & Price in 2022 at our sister pub, the Arrow Mill, where she worked her way up through the ranks to deputy manager, always going the extra mile to chat with customers and make sure they have a great experience.

    Over the years, Caitlin has developed a passion for the hospitality industry, leading her to her new adventure as part of the opening crew at The Mallard.

    Kelsey

    Assistant Manager

    Kelsey has joined us from Loungers, and we couldn't be happier to have him on the team.

    In his spare time, he is usually trying (not always successfully) to keep house plants alive, and he has four cats at home!

    Kelsey also loves to cook but luckily, he admits it's not his forte, so we'll keep him out front for now, thank you.
