Summer Garden Festival 2024

After a faltering start trying to bring our summer festival to the, well, summer, we rescheduled for a celebration at the beginning of September instead! A giant marquee, 10 local brewery real ales, 2 dedicated craft lager bars, a variety of cider, pimms....need I go on! Friday kicked off hot, the BBQ going down a treat as Daniel James played into the night. Saturday morning saw some of us getting out bright and early, going on a little walk round the Shropshire countryside at the back of the pub with our four legged friends, a good way to begin the rest of the day guilt free! We were joined by Small Horse and the Plan who eased us into the early afternoon with upbeat tracks and singalongs. The kids (and staff!) were kept busy with face painting, games and a balloon artist, then the evening was welcomed in by 4oz of Groove, bringing the atmosphere to a head as we relaxed under our newly-lit patio. Sunday wound down gently as the rain came, but we didn't let it put a dampner on things! A truly relaxed atmosphere was enjoyed by those who joined us under the cover of the marquee to listen to the the talented Heidi Browne, as we ate yorkies filled to the brim from our festival menu. What more could we ask for? We can't wait to do it all again next year!
