Menus

Each day, before midday we upload the day's menus, it's always nice to whet your appetite before you even get to us. We also add in more detail about each dish in case you need to check out the ingredients for allergen information.

Pudding

Where certain allergens are highlighted the allergen may relate to just one component of the dish, which may easily be substituted or removed. For more information please ask one of our crew.

We are happy to provide you with allergen guidelines for all our menu items, but due to the presence of some ingredients used in our kitchens, where we offer a gluten free menu, controls are in place to ensure that dishes contain less than 20ppm gluten. Otherwise, we can never guarantee a dish is completely free from any allergens or specific ingredients.

Our Cheeses

Blackstick's Blue This farmhouse soft blue-veined cheese is made from pasteurised milk from the Butlers family herd of pedigree cows, on the farm in Inglewhite, Lancashire. The cheese is aged for about eight weeks, during which it develops a distinctive amber hue.

Cricket St Thomas Made by Lubborn Cheese, this is a rich and creamy cheese with a soft edible white rind. A British alternative to the famous French classic Camembert with a notable flavour difference which is the result of its local milk and production process.

Barber's Vintage Cheddar One of the only cheddars in the world with PDO-accreditation. Made with traditional starter cultures, West Country milk and using age-old methods, it's typically matured for 18 months. Full bodied and complex.

Clara Goats Cheese Sprinkled with a layer of ash, which makes a telling contribution to the final flavour and texture. The paste is dense and creamy with a buttery flavour cut through with lemony notes and hints of freshly cut grass, before it unfolds into a long savoury finish.

West Country Brie West Country Brie is a fabulous example of a British brie. It is milder than its French counterparts but still has plenty of flavour. The cheese itself starts out firm with a soft tang. Then, as it ripens, it becomes creamier and glossier.

        A Brunning & Price pub

        Privacy policy

        Book online

Use the calendar to book a table.

If you have booked a table and your plans change so you can no longer make it, please give us a call or use the link in your confirmation email to cancel your table.

Feel free to just call down.

We don't book out all our tables in the pub, saving some for 'walk-ins', and sometimes those with bookings prefer to sit outside which again can free up more tables. So if the booking time you're after isn't available, and you potentially don't mind a wait, feel free to just call down. We'll either have a spot free for you or will be running a waiting list.
