An Evening with Leffe ~ Friday 25th July

Friday 25th July

We are delighted to be welcoming along our friends from the centuries-old brewery in Belgium, Leffe, to showcase their amazing Abbey Beers with some canape pairings to go alongside, including the legendary Chicken ham and leek pie.
The history of Leffe Brewery dates back to 1240, when Canons, who pre-dated Monks, welcomed pilgrims and travellers to drink their beer; safer to drink than water at the time. Leffe in its more modern guise as we know and love today was first brewed in 1952, when modern monks and brewers teamed together to revive the brewing tradition of the Abbey.
The evening will be hosted by Cheryl Cade, a beer sommelier who has put together the food pairings for us – what she doesn’t know about beer, really isn’t worth knowing.. We are only a little sad that no monks are available to join us this time!
This really is a special opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and history of Leffe beers so don't miss out – Book here
