Front of house

Josh

Manager

Here we have Josh, the head honcho over here, but prefers to be called “Le Grand Fromage” for his big love of cheese of course. When you pop round you will find Josh greeting and making sure all our guests feel at home. When he’s not at work he likes to indulge in a bit of cheese and "sports wine" (as he named it!)

Andrew

Deputy Manager

Haspey is our maths graduate who joined Brunning and Price in 2016 in his home town pub the Pen y Bryn where he worked his way up the ranks, joining us here at the Roebuck in 2020. He's gone from former "sandwich artist" to all rounder, you can normally see him gliding around the floor ensuring customers are having a great time. In his spare time he loves going out for food in new restaurants and loves a good G&T

Elliott

Deputy Manager

Say "Hi" to Elliott! With the Roebuck for over 3 years now, he's almost part of the furniture. Whether you catch him behind the bar or front of house you can guarantee that his fountain of knowledge will help ensure you have the most wonderful time with us. A big football fan, if he's not at work good chance he's at Stamford Bridge watching his beloved Chelsea. A nice steak and glass of red is his go to but he will always tip his hat to a well poured pint of Guinness!

Assistant Manager

Our in house rum enthusiast, Giordel has been with Brunning and Price for a few years between the Roebuck and our sister pub the Steam Packet, re-joining the Roebuck as part of the management team in 2024. You can be sure to see Giordel shaking, pouring and dishing out drinks on our bar. He enjoys his early Sunday finishes to tune in to his favourite sport NFL, he's a huge Jacksonville Jaguars fan.

Mark

Assistant Manager

Our Resident DJ and techy, Mark is one of the first members we had when we opened. He loves doing karaoke, going to the cinema and spending time with his wife and daughter. With a wonderful and calm personality Mark can be found making sure you enjoy a good night out. If it's to have a wild one or just a quiet one, his carefully catered playlist will get you there.

Mattia

Assistant Manager

Our Italian Stallion, Mattia's passion for the hospitality industry shines through in his work, with a background in fine dining and a dream of owning his own restaurant in years to come, you'll normally find Mattia gliding effortlessly round our dining room. With his passion for food and fine wine it's a match made in heaven.

He loves hiking on the sunny days and movies/videogames on the rainy ones, you can usually find him post shift enjoying a nice cold IPA.

Loreena

Bar/Waiting

Joining Brunning and Price in 2022 Loreena has worked between the Steam Packet and the Roebuck also helping with setting up another one of our pubs the Architect in Bath. Loreena dreams of a career in the music industry with an oozing passion for music from a young age, so spends a lot of her spare time chasing this dream along with chasing her cockapoo Peaches around! And if it's not a tequila-lime-soda then she doesn't want to know!

Amy

Since joining us in the summer of 2023 Amy has became a vital part of the team. Her ever reliable and hardworking approach to everyday spurs the rest of the team on, with lots of experience in the hospitality industry it's always a pleasure to be working alongside or served by Amy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and you'll always find her with a coffee in hand

Thomas

"Howay Man" our very own Geordie! Town has two o's and no w when you speak to our Tom, Newcastle born and bred if you couldn't tell. Tom loves nothing more than a night out with the lads on the "Toon". He loves his sport; football, rugby and cricket all personal favourites, if it's not Newcastle United or Falcons then who else!?

Tom is a great lad, you will regularly catch him running our courtyard and garden bar with his infectious laugh and passion for service, say hello next time you pop in

Ella

Bar/Waiting

With a smile that could brighten up even the darkest of days, Ella joined us in the summer of 2024 and hasn't stopped smiling since. She enjoys travelling, festivals and Guinness! (Lets be honest.... who doesn't?). A wizard behind the bar and a star when she's front of house, Ella is a great asset to the team.

Daisy

Bar/Waiting

Another local girl, Daisy was born and raised a stones throw away from the Roebuck and joins us while completing her masters in physiotherapy, hoping one day to be a physio for a football club. Her favorite drink is a pornstar martini and in her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and walking her cockapoo Barney, who like most dogs loves a trip to the Roebuck!


Kitchen

Salvatore

Senior Sous Chef

"What is this" well this is Salvatore and what better way to open his profile then with his own catchphrase, our Sicilian Sous Chef, from a family of chefs with a passion for hospitality and cooking like no other. There's nothing he loves more than a seafood linguine and carbonara "never with double cream", always up for a challenge and always up for a laugh. At the end of shift you'll see him swap his whites and apron for an Asahi but we reckon he deserves it after a long day in the kitchen!

Wilzon

Head Chef

The man behind the pass! Wilzon is our Head Chef, born and raised in Mexico now residing in West London and spends most of his week cooking up a storm alongside his wonderful team. With plenty of years experience there is not a dish that he hasn't cooked and is always up for a challenge. Our open kitchen allows you the perfect view of Wilzon hard at work ensuring your food leaves you with a smile on your face. Feel free to head over to the pass and say hello to Wilzon when you next pop by.

Silbert

Chef de Partie

Silbert here is our Senior CDP with over 8 years experience. He started cooking when he was 16 years old and loves it with passion. His time off is spent either relaxing with a bit of gardening or he hones his skills by cooking and creating new dishes.

Seby

Chef de Partie

Here is Sebastiao but everyone loves to call him sebylicious, one of our amazing Chefs with a contagious smile. Coming from Goa, he has been with us since 2019 and he loves playing football and dancing. He usually prefers to stay at home rather than go out, but if he has to go out he says he dances till he can no more!

Santana

Chef de Partie

Santana joined us in January 2022, a new addition to the team and a lovely one at that. Santana loves baking cakes and desserts, that is her passion and for good reason aswell! On her time off she enjoys and watching movies with her family and cooking delicious meals for them.

Leonardo

Kitchen Porter

Leo our amazing Kitchen Porter, can be found usually helping around in the kitchen and singing, an expert in turning that frown upside down and a real sweetheart. No matter how busy the enviornment might be, Leo will make sure you are having fun.
