Sarah

Manager

Originally from Norwich, Sarah started out as Front of House, bringing her signature warmth and creativity to every shift. Fast forward, and she’s now our General Manager, running the show with style and skill! With a background in fashion, she adds a creative touch to everything—from organising art exhibitions in the pub to designing posters for our legendary events. She’s not just our boss—she’s the Queen of the Queen’s, and everyone in Crouch End knows and loves her. A true community legend, Sarah keeps the Queen’s feeling like home for crew and customers alike.

Alec

Assistant Manager

You all know and love Alec! As our resident host with the most, he’s the friendly face you’ll often see serving up your Sunday roast with a smile. But Alec does more than just great service—he’s the creative force behind our pub’s decor, setting the perfect atmosphere for every season. And that music you’re enjoying? It’s all part of his carefully curated playlist. Next time you're in, be sure to say hi!

Charlie

Assistant Manager

Born and raised in South London, Charlie brings his passion and expertise to the Queens as our Assistant Manager. Whether he's ensuring smooth service or recommending the perfect drink, he's always happy to help. A true Yorkshire tea enthusiast and video game lover, Charlie also has a keen eye for cocktails—so if you're looking to try something new, he's your go-to guy!

Cass

Assistant Manager

Born and raised in North London, Cass is our resident gluten-free expert and go-to for the best coeliac-friendly dishes on our menu. Whether you need a recommendation or just fancy a chat about great food, he’s always happy to help! You’ll often spot him with a lungo in hand, making the most of our coffee machine.

Jack

Supervisor

If you’re after a top-notch cask ale recommendation, Jack is your guy. Often spotted rocking the baggiest jeans in Crouch End, he’s got a keen eye for great pints and great films—currently honing his craft while studying for a film degree. And while he technically pours the second-best Guinness (shhh, don’t tell him that!), he still sets the bar high behind the taps.

Fin

Supervisor

Born and raised in North London, Finn is the guy you want pouring your Guinness—perfection every time! Always wearing a smile, he’s known for his soothing voice, with many saying he’s got the makings of a great radio host. A history buff at heart, he can name any capital city in the world, so feel free to put him to the test! And if Winnie the Pooh swapped honey for a pint, well… you’d have Finn.

Darren

Bar/Waiting

Our Daz likes to keep it old school. If he's not spinning up some Hip-Hop classics on the decks, he's behind the bar making sure everyone's got a drink.

Ben

Bar/Waiting staff

A walking Star Wars encyclopedia with impressions to match, Ben keeps the team (and the pub) in stitches with his legendary sense of humor. A proud transfer from the Telegraph, we’re more than happy to have stolen him—he’s a well-loved member of the Queen’s crew. Oh, and if you’re looking for him? Just scan the room for the tallest man in Crouch End. You can’t miss him!

Lana

Bar/Waiting

A true chatty gem, Lana lights up the Queen’s with her witty banter and creative flair. Known for her exquisite taste in jewelry and an eclectic fashion sense, she’s always effortlessly stylish—both in conversation and appearance. While juggling work, she’s also completing an art degree, and her talent shines through in the hilarious staff sketches she creates. Her drawings have earned pride of place on our cork board, bringing laughter to the team daily. Whether she’s serving up drinks or serving up art, she’s an unforgettable part of the Queen’s crew!

Ren

Bar/Waiting

All the way from Portugal, Ren is the Queen’s biggest film fanatic—and the most musical of the crew! If you're ever stuck on what to watch next, he’s your go-to for expert movie recommendations. Just look for the guy with the bun and tattoos! When he’s not sharing his cinematic wisdom, you’ll find him meticulously polishing our wine and whiskey glasses to perfection.

Jordan

Bar/Waiting

With a musical background and a laugh that’s always echoing through the Queen’s, Jordan brings both talent and good vibes to the team. Dubbed "The Stud of the Queen’s", he’s no stranger to compliments—even making a name for himself in a Google review as a ‘hipster’. Whether he’s pouring pints or cracking jokes, he’s always at the heart of the fun.

Joe

Bar/Waiting

Born and raised in Crouch End, Joe might be the baby of the pub, but when it comes to pouring pints, he’s a total pro. A true master of the perfect pour, he’s always behind the bar, making sure your drink is just right. You can’t miss him—just look for the dark curly hair and effortlessly stylish shirts. And if you hear a bit of Michael Jackson playing, chances are Joe’s the one behind it—his love for the King of Pop is unmatched!

Grace

A true Crouch Ender, Grace is a familiar face at the Queen’s—just look for the curls and the flowy white shirt (she’s even been compared to a Mamma Mia! character!). But don’t be fooled by the effortless style—she’s got serious skill behind the bar and could probably break records with how many pint glasses she can carry at once. Whether she’s serving drinks or bringing the energy, Grace is always a standout!

Lucy

Bar/Waiting

If you’ve ever had a Sunday roast at the Queen’s, chances are Lucy was the one delivering it with speed and a smile! Often spotted darting through the dining room, plates in hand, she’s a whirlwind of efficiency. She knows all our regulars and their orders by heart, making everyone feel right at home. Busy, Bright Blonde, and Brilliant, Lucy not only keeps the Queen’s running smoothly but also covers everyone's shifts, proving she’s the real MVP of the team!

Izzy

Bar/Waiting

A proud transfer from the Architect in Bath, Izzy arrived in London in true style—cycling down on her Brompton! When she’s not busy at the Queen’s, you’ll likely find her running, swimming, or training for her next triathlon. As our resident vegan, she’s the go-to for plant-based recommendations, always ready to dish out the best options on the menu. With her bubbly personality and unstoppable energy, she brings passion and pace to every shift—both in and out of the pub!

Bambi

Head Chef

"You awlright, luv?" – If you’ve heard this warm greeting, you’ve met Bambi!

All the way from Albania, Bambi is a serious talent in the kitchen, having honed his craft in some of the UK’s finest restaurants—including The Savoy and Claridges. Now, we’re lucky enough to have him as our Head Chef, the creative force behind all of our well-loved and delicious dishes. His passion for food, expertise, and signature charm make every meal at the Queen’s something special.

Tasha

Sous Chef

All the way from Russia, Tasha’s journey at the Queen’s began 15 years ago as a kitchen porter. Through hard work, skill, and sheer determination, she has risen to become our Sous Chef, proving she is truly a force to be reckoned within the kitchen.

Known for her meticulous cooking and flawless presentation, Tasha ensures every dish that leaves the pass is nothing short of perfection. On top of her culinary talent, she’s also multilingual, making her a key part of our diverse and dynamic team. Her dedication, precision, and ability to switch between languages effortlessly make her an indispensable part of the Queen’s kitchen—and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Sid

Chef

For the past seven years, Sid has been a staple of the Queen’s kitchen, bringing flair, skill, and a whole lot of laughter to every shift. Always smiling and joking, he keeps the energy high while plating up dishes with impeccable presentation—every plate is a work of art!

A true fashion lover, he’s often spotted in high-end designer looks, proving that style doesn’t stop at the kitchen door. And as for charm? Let’s just say he’s got a reputation as a real ladies’ man!

Smit

Chef

Bringing his passion for cooking all the way from India, Smit is the baby of the kitchen, but don’t let that fool you—his skills are second to none! Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he takes pride in perfecting every dish, especially our beloved Sticky Toffee sauce, which he crafts to absolute perfection. A rising star in the Queen’s kitchen, his dedication and talent make him an essential part of the team.

Jaber

Kitchen Porter

For the past six years, Jaber has been a key member of the Queen’s, bringing dedication, determination, and a blue beanie that never leaves his head. Hailing from Algeria, he’s a hardworking force behind the scenes, always ensuring everything runs smoothly.

After a long shift, you’ll often find him unwinding with a well-earned Peroni, a small reward for the dedication he brings to the team every day. The Queen’s wouldn’t be the same without him!

Linda

Kitchen Porter

With her curly hair and signature Barbour boots, Linda is a true staple of the Queen’s. As our Kitchen Porter, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Known for her unusual love of eating lemons (yes, really!), she’s also the Grandma of the pub, bringing warmth, wisdom, and a whole lot of heart to the team. We wouldn’t be the same without her!

Agrita

Kitchen Porter & Chef

Hardworking, dedicated, and always bringing warmth to the team, Agrita is a true gem at the Queen’s. A mother of two, she somehow balances it all while making the journey all the way from Luton—because she loves us, and we love her right back!

When she’s not keeping things running smoothly, you’ll likely find her enjoying a well-earned glass of orange juice. Her commitment and energy make her an irreplaceable part of our team, and we’re so lucky to have her!


Maintenance

John

Gardener/Maintenance Person

John is the skilled handyman behind the scenes at the Queen’s, keeping everything in top shape with his expert craftsmanship. Whether it’s fixing, building, or making sure everything runs smoothly, he’s the go-to guy for all things practical.

Husband to our lovely manager Sarah, he’s very much part of the Queen’s family. And with his effortlessly cool style and skater boy vibes, he proves that hard work can still look good!
