The River Severn at Atcham, Shrewsbury, offers good fishing opportunities, particularly for barbel and chub. You can fish on a National Trust day ticket at Lower Brompton Farm, purchased from Attingham Park Hall. The fishing season is typically from June 15th to March 15th.
