Each day, before midday we upload the day's menus, it's always nice to whet your appetite before you even get to us. We also add in more detail about each dish in case you need to check out the ingredients for allergen information.

Wines

Below you’ll find our lovingly-chosen wine list. Hopefully you’ll find something that suits, at a price that fits.

Wines that are available by the glass are sold in 125ml measure. Larger sizes of 175ml and 250ml are also available and are priced accordingly.

Colombard Sauvignon, Crusan, France Fresh but succulent, this is a juicy little quaffer with a soft attack, late fruit and a clean finish.  

Sauvignon Blanc, Tierra Alta, Chile Classic mountain Sauvignon Blanc, ''nettly'', ''grassy'', much like my lawn.  

Pinot Grigio, Quindi, Italy A classic from Puglia. Soft apple aromas with a zesty lemon touch for that true Italian flair.  

Sauvignon Blanc, Riverstone, New Zealand A corker of a Marlborough sauvignon, with a good squeeze of lemon, twist of nettle and the ever present gooseberry. £23.95 

Chenin Blanc, Bush Vines, Kleine Zalze, South Africa This beauty is bursting at the seams with zingy gooseberries and voluptuous tropical fruit.  

Chardonnay, Les Volets, France Burgundy style with a southern French sun tan, elegant, buttery, nutty and a touch of oak.  

Les Cépages Viognier - Baron Philippe de Rothschild, France Rhône grapes go on holiday to the South of France! Aromatic, charming and exquisitely floral. £20.95 

Vinho Verde, Vila Nova, Portugal A Portuguese show stopper, zingy, fresh and citrussy with a touch of peach to finish.  

Picpoul de Pinet, L'Ormarine 'Carte Noire', France Bone dry. If you enjoy a crisp Sauvignon this little number will float your boat.  

Albariño Raimat, Spain Spanish señorita dances on your palate with a kick of zippy citrus, almond and sweet vanilla.  

Macon Villages, Domaine de la Grange Magnien, Loius Jadot, Burgundy, France Iconic white Burgundy. Dry, crisp, minerally fruit. Gallic chardonnay for people who think they don't like chardonnay. £28.95 

Luberon, M. Chapoutier, La Ciboise, France Aromas of blossom, lemons and exotic fruits. Freshness and lovely balance, a superb glass of white wine. £26.95 

Papagiannakos Savatiano, Greece Complex and philosophical… A seriously good wine from ancient Greek vineyards.  

Riesling, Rag and Bone, Eden Valley, Australia Dry, textural, limey, quite simply everything you want from an Aussie Riesling.  

Sepp, Gruner Veltliner, Austria Grapefruit with a hint of spice. A slightly 'off the beaten track' organic treasure. £29.95 

Bordeaux Blanc, Légende, Domaines Barons De Rothschild, Bordeaux, France An elegant classic white Bordeaux with timeless flavours of lemon, cream, and peaches. £29.95 

Chablis, Premier Cru, Beauroy, Domaine de la Motte, France Old school aromatic buttery loveliness. A big shaggy dog of a wine that licks you all over.  

Sauvignon Blanc, Cloudy Bay, New Zealand Behold the icon. Okay so it's pricey, bu this is exactly what £44.95 was designed for. £44.95 


Rosé

Wicked Lady White Zinfandel, California, USA Strawberries and cream in a glass. Living in 'zin' with this wicked lady.  

Pinot Grigio Blush, I Castelli, Italy Pinot Grigio pink at its finest. Fresh flavours of raspberry and red cherry with a lifting finish. £21.95£4.00

Domaine de L'Olibet 'Les Pujols' Cinsault Rosé, Pays D’Oc, Languedoc, France Classic, dry and elegant, a true foodie Rosé.  


Red Wines

Nero d'Avola, Sicily A proper Italian quaffer with bags of character – excellent on its own or with food.  

Merlot, Granfort, Pays D'Oc France Soft, rounded, plummy fruit flavours with a gentle sustained finish. A cuddle in a glass.  

Pinot Noir, Rare Vineyards, France If wine were footwear this would be a light summer deck shoe. Red cherries spring to mind.  

Cabernet Sauvignon, Pays D'Oc, France A hearty hug with a friendly back slap ! Full of ripe fruit, rich flavours and soft tannins. £21.95 

Rioja Vega del Rayo, Vendimia, Seleccionada, Rioja, Spain Delicious Rioja. Deep colour, ripe plum and cherry fruit aromas with a smoky dimension.  

Man meets Mountain, Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina This red brings to you a harmonious Malbec, packed full of Blueberry, blackcurrant and plum and a complex and delicious finish.  

The Guv'nor, Felix Solis, Spain If Ray Winston met Marlon Brando, this is what they'd drink. Moody with bags of attitude.

Passori Rosso, Veneto, Italy This red is like a classic Italian race car. Stylish, smooth, and turns heads with its full body.  

Pinot Noir, The Cloud Factory, Marlborough, New Zealand From the coast of the Southern Ocean it''s a quirkier more vibrant wine than its French cousin.

For those preferring to eat alfresco, please just head down to the pub. Outside tables are on a first come first served basis.


Should your plans change (which of course they might) and you no longer need your table, please give us a call to let us know or simply use the link in your confirmation email to cancel your booking and free up your table for other customers. Thanks for your help with this.
