Sous Chef

Salary package £23,000 - £28,000 plus tips and company benefits

We’re now looking for an additional Sous Chef to help strengthen our team. As well as having excellent skills as a Sous Chef you will have a passion for good, fresh food, a good head for business and experience in helping to set and achieve GP percentages and wage targets.

For us it’s all about serving fresh, simple, high quality traditional dishes extremely well and together with the head chef and other sous chef chefs you will help write the menus, assist in sourcing ingredients from the best suppliers and set and maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency.

You’ll need to have the ability to efficiently manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and so your kitchen management and organisational skills will be of paramount importance. Creating a happy working atmosphere is vital to the successful running of the kitchens, and comes high on our agenda.

This will be a vital role in the pub and is an excellent stepping stone on the road to managing your own kitchen

Chef de Partie

Salary from £19,000 to £23,000 per annum plus paid overtime and excellent benefits. 

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency. This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of cooking delicious dishes, maintaining effective kitchen controls and adhering to excellent standards of health and hygiene.

The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for an ambitious and committed chef with a passion for good food who is ready to take the next step in their career. We provide all our chefs with real opportunities to develop with us into a senior chef role with training and support in place for you along the way.

Depending on your experience, we’ll reward you with a salary from £19,000 to £23,000 plus paid overtime and excellent benefits and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on five occasions

Full and Part time Kitchen Porter

Hourly paid plus benefits

We are looking for a Full and part time Kitchen Porter to strengthen our team, working alongside our busy team of chefs during our particularly busy times – evenings, weekends and lunchtimes. 

Duties will be varied and after initial training will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operating the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation.

Previous experience is not required although enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working in a busy kitchen with high standards of food hygiene is essential.
