To kick of the Bank holiday weekend we’re hosting a walk from the pub which takes in the local woods, Basingstoke canal and King Johns Castle. Join us at 10am for Bacon butties and a cuppa – we will set off at 10.30am and hope to return by 12noon –children and dogs are welcome but pushchairs probably not a great idea!
After the walk we’ll meet back at the pub for a well-deserved pint or two and a spot of lunch if you fancy. If you’d like to join us please drop me an email or call 01256 702953 to reserve your spot.
Easter Egg Hunt and Sunday Roast - Easter Sunday 1st April
Bring the kids along to The Mill House Easter Egg Hunt from 11am to 2.30pm, then let the kids run the chocolate off, rest your weary egg hunting feet over a couple of jars in the bar or a traditional Sunday roast!
The egg hunt is free of charge; please RSVP with number of egg hunting children at the pub or via phone or email.
Reservations for Sunday lunch in the pub are essential so please let us know if you fancy staying for a bite to eat after.
Charity Duck Race - Bank holiday Monday 2nd April
One for the kids, big and small – on Easter Monday we will be hosting our charity duck race on the Mill Pond. Join us at the pub from 11am til 3pm to decorate your duck in the barn, ready for the race to start at 3.30pm.
Entrance costs £2.50 per duck (ducks and decorating implements included) and all proceeds will go to Robbiesrally, a local and very worth while cause.
