Senior Sous Chef

Salary package £26,000 - £28,000 plus tips and company benefits

The role

As a Sous chef you'll work across all areas of the kitchen and have the ability to confidently manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

You will be involved in a range of duties including:

·fresh food preparation

·menu design

·setting and reviewing GPs

·managing wage targets

·ordering

·stock control

·meeting food safety and cleaning standards

We encourage all our Sous chefs to embrace our food culture and take part in menu development so you’ll have the chance to submit your own ideas for new dishes on our regularly changing menu.

Chef de Partie

Salary from £20,000 - £23,000 plus paid overtime, tips & company benefits.

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the crew at The Fox Revived, near Horley, which we’re very excited to have as the latest addition to the Brunning & Price family of pub restaurants.  
We’ve currently completed a substantial tip to toe renovation to restore this lovely country pub to its former splendour as a traditional freehold pub restaurant with a purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standard.
Our Chefs de Partie undertake key roles in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and experience of working in a busy, fresh food environment. 
You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will generally be given responsibility to look after a particular section with the help of other chefs.  On a daily basis you’ll be supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking as well as undertaking kitchen management duties including ordering, stock control and ensuring food safety and cleaning standards are met. 
As part of the team, you’ll help develop seasonal menus with a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.
Creating a happy working atmosphere is vital to the successful running of the kitchens and comes high on our agenda and so your contribution to creating a friendly and supportive working environment is crucial.
The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for ambitious, creative and committed chefs with a passion for good food who are ready to take the next step in their career. Depending on your experience we’ll reward you with a starting salary from £20,000 - £23,000 per annum.

Kitchen Porter

Competitive hourly rates plus tips and company benefits

We're looking for experienced full and part time Kitchen Porters to work alongside our team of chefs during our particularly busy times - evenings, weekends and lunchtimes.

Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation.

We are very flexible and try to work around people's commitments which means that however you run your life we're sure you'll enjoy working for us.
