Deputy Manager

Salary package up to £26,000 per annum + benefits

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager with a big front of house character to help run the pub alongside the Manager.

You won't carry the full weight of responsibility but you’ll be helping to run a substantial business and will be the manager's right-hand person - making decisions and directing things on a daily basis.

The role is very hands-on and extremely varied encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service, pub maintenance and day to day financial administration.

As well as helping to select wines and beers, you’ll join in with menu development with the chef team and above all, be recognised as a natural, charismatic and friendly host who genuinely enjoys looking after people and providing great service.

We need someone who has a real eye for the detail together with management experience in a similar pub or restaurant environment.  You’ll need to have a real passion for and sound knowledge of quality food and menu development, cask ales and beers, wines and spirits.

Assistant Manager

Salary package up to £20,000 per annum

We're looking for an Assistant Manager who will be a key member of the pub management team and will be expected to support the manager and deputy in many aspects of the day to day running of the pub.

The role will be very hands-on and extremely varied encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service, pub maintenance and day to day pub administration.

Chef de Partie

Salary up to £20,000 (based upon 45 hours per week) + benefits + accommodation*

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency. This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of cooking delicious dishes, maintaining effective kitchen controls and adhering to excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Apprentice Chef

Starting rate of ​£5.50 per hour plus benefits

Are you an enthusiastic chef who wishes to start your career in a high quality, fresh food environment? This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery. 


Our menus have a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world: in other words, modern British cookery. Our passion lies in finding quality ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. 

As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and production, menu development and food tasting, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised. You’ll need to be able to work well under pressure, our kitchens are busy, fast paced environments but the rest of the chef team will be there to support you. 

We’re looking for reliable, punctual, people with a ‘can do’ attitude together with a genuine passion for cooking fresh food and a keenness to learn. 

Apprentice Chefs will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. Once you have completed your qualification within the role, you may be offered full time employment with ongoing prospects for career development with a company that has been awarded Pub Group of the Year on numerous occasions. 

 Please note you’ll need to work weekends and evenings and you should consider how you will get to and from the pub.
