We recently opened in Spring 2016 and we're looking for out-going, friendly people to join our crew to work around 15-30 hours per week.

Previous experience is always helpful but not essential, as long as you enjoy looking after people, have a genuine interest in food and drink and are able to work busy lunchtimes, evenings and weekends, we would love to hear from you.

We can be quite flexible and can fit around most people’s commitments.

Junior Sous Chef

Salary package around £22,000 plus benefits + tips.  

We can also offer help to provide accommodation in the local area if you're looking to relocate. 

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef with excellent cooking skills, experience in helping to set and achieve GP percentages and the ability to manage high volumes with the right standards of quality and consistency.

Our menu has a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world: in other words, modern British cookery. Our passion lies in finding quality ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way.

Together with the head chef you will help write the menus, assist in sourcing ingredients from the best suppliers and set and maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency. You’ll also need to help to efficiently run service in the head and sous chef’s absence and so your kitchen management and organisational skills will be of paramount importance.

As a Junior Sous Chef we’ll reward you with a competitive salary package and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on many occasions.

Chef de Partie

Salary up to £20,000 per annum + benefits + accommdation*

We are looking for experienced Chefs de Partie and Senior Chefs de Partie to join the crew at the Oakley in Brewood, the latest acquisition to the Brunning and Price family of pub restaurants. 

We’ve recently completed a substantial renovation to restore the building to it’s former splendour and opened in Spring 2016 as a traditional freehold pub restaurant with a purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standard.

Our Chefs de Partie undertake key roles in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and experience of working in a busy, fresh food environment. 

You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will generally be given responsibility to look after a particular section with the help of other chefs.  On a daily basis you’ll be supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking as well as undertaking kitchen management duties including ordering, stock control and ensuring food safety and cleaning standards are met. 

As part of the team, you’ll help develop seasonal menus with a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.

Creating a happy working atmosphere is vital to the successful running of the kitchens and comes high on our agenda and so your contribution to creating a friendly and supportive working environment is crucial.

The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for ambitious, creative and committed chefs with a passion for good food who are ready to take the next step in their career. Depending on your experience, as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie, we’ll reward you with a starting salary package up to £20,000 per annum.  Our rate of growth means that there are exciting opportunities springing up all the time and we always try to promote from within when we can which means this is an excellent stepping stone on the road to developing a rewarding career as a professional chef.

Kitchen Porter

Hourly rate plus benefits

We are looking for full and part-time Kitchen Assistants / Kitchen Porters to work alongside our team of busy chefs.


We need people who can work flexibly during mornings, lunchtimes and evenings (including weekends). Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation. 

Previous experience is not required although enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working in a busy kitchen with high standards of food hygiene is essential. 

We will provide you with training and the opportunities to develop your skills in our busy kitchens.
