Deputy Manager

Salary package up to £25,000 plus tips and benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the management crew. As a Deputy Manager you are a key member of the management team and will be expected to support the manager as the ‘right hand’ person in all aspects of sharing responsibility for the day to day running of the restaurant. You will also assume responsibility for the restaurant when themanager is not on the premises with the help of the rest of the managementteam.

Helping to run one of our sites is a multi-facetted career:you’ll need to be a real foodie; have a real passion for decent beer and wine;enjoy looking after others and help build and direct a happy crew.

The role will therefore be very hands-on and extremelyvaried encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service,restaurant and kitchen maintenance and day to day financial administration..

It sounds like a tall order, but in truth we are able to offer a lot of support, and at the end of the day the most important quality we look for in all our people is strength of personality. We like fun characterswho set the bar high and have an eye for detail.

We’ll reward you with a salary package of up to £25,000 and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on five occasions.

Kitchen

Chef de Partie

Salary from £20,000 - £22,000 with paid overtime, tips and company benefits + accommodation*
*We can help you find local accommodation if required. We work with an independent consultant to find suitable accommodation to suit your budget.

All of our pubs are featured in the Good Pub Guide and for us it’s all about serving fresh, simple, high quality traditional dishes extremely well. Our menus have a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency. This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of cooking delicious dishes, maintaining effective kitchen controls and adhering to excellent standards of health and hygiene.

The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for an ambitious and committed chef with a passion for good food who is ready to take the next step in their career. We provide all our chefs with real opportunities to develop with us into a senior chef role with training and support in place for you along the way.

Depending on your experience, we’ll reward you with a salary from £20,000 to £22,000 for a 45 hour week with paid overtime and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on five occasions.

Commis Chef

£7.50 - £8.50 per hour plus benefits

We’re looking for ambitious and committed junior chefs with a passion for food to work alongside our team of professional chefs in our happy kitchen environment.

This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of delicious dishes, effective kitchen controls and excellent standards of health and hygiene.

If you’ve already gained some experience in a busy kitchen environment and have enthusiasm and a genuine interest in a rewarding career in cooking we’d love to hear from you.

We see our junior chefs as our head chefs of the future and this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a busy environment, working with professional chefs to create delicious dishes using quality ingredients.
