Junior Sous Chef

Salary package up to £23,000 - £25,000

Are you an experienced Junior Sous chef with a real passion for quality fresh food?

As a Junior Sous Chef you'll work across all areas of the kitchen and have the ability to confidently manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

Our Junior Sous Chefs are involved in a range of duties including:

  • Fresh food preparation
  • Embracing our food culture and designing regularly changing menus
  • Setting and reviewing GPs
  • Managing wage targets
  • Ordering
  • Stock control
  • Meeting food safety and cleaning standards

Apprentice Chef

£5.50 per hour plus overtime, tips and benefits.

Are you an enthusiastic chef who wishes to start your career in a high quality, fresh food environment?

This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery.

As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and production, menu development and food tasting, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

Apprentice Chefs will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. Please note you’ll need to work weekends and evenings and you should consider how you will get to and from the pub.

Once you have completed your qualification, you may be offered full time employment with ongoing prospects for career development with us.

Commis Chef

Hourly rate plus tips and benefits 

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and committed Commis Chef with a genuine interest in developing a rewarding career in professional cookery.

You’ll be supporting other chefs in a range of duties including:

  • Meeting food safety and cleaning standards

This is a key role in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and some previous experience of working in a busy kitchen in a high-volume environment.
